A lot of the foreshadowing in these lyrics arent even apparent until later. For instance This will be the Day, and Time to say Goodbye take on whole new meaning now that we know more about Salem, Ozpin and Cinder. You could even say that this song and Divide are both rebuttals to This will be the Day from the side of Cinder and Salem.

How she can counter Weiss is if Emerald made something that Weiss couldn't hurt or kill, leaving her somewhat clueless of what's real or what's fake. Weiss has her glyphs and it can be used as Time-Dilation(which is really useful), platforms, and etc. Now that she has summoning, she could possibly wreck everything as long as they're both alone together fighting each other and if no one from each team shows up as another variation of Emerald's semblance. It's basically Glyphs and Dust vs Illusions/Hallucinations.
That moment you realize that one of the reasons why there are so many named characters in the series is that at least half of them are probably gonna die at some point in the next volumes.
I hope Weiss's father dies, but Winter survives. Winter is pretty cool, i'd love to see her fight more. I have a feeling we'll see a Schnee+Atlas VS White Fang battle sometime in the upcoming volume.

+Lazarus Beta Not true. Volumes 1 and 2 had super edgy opening themes too and neither ever delivered on it. It came as a shock when volume 3 actually hit the same notes that all three themes did.
When we first heard this track before the series started... I wasn't so sure. It felt so different from the other 2 openings. Then, once the tonal shift kicked in post episode 6... it started to feel a lot more fitting. Also, a few verses started to work better too. Now I can listen to this and go, "we were warned. We didn't trust it, we thought it was just a red herring how the the previous 2 were just... there. Goddamn it..." But yeah, I can appreciate this song a lot more now.

Normally i ignore the opening after the first time i see it but listening to this i noticed something. In films there's an unwritten rule that the good guys move left to right while the bad guys from right to left. Now look at 1:35. This could be due to the students moving to defend their home but if we take into account "time to say goodbye" , "sacrifice", 'divide" and "die" it's highly likely that the students are used as instruments for the real villains.

I watched Rwby in like three weeks and Volume three is easily the best volume, it had me emotionally broken at the end and I couldn’t watch more for another 2 days.
Will someone please explain if I'm catching the wrong vibe? Like here's the way I see the 3 volumes

This song pretty much describes how the world is right now, because of the virus
Normally i ignore the opening after the first time i see it but listening to this i noticed something. In films there's an unwritten rule that the good guys move left to right while the bad guys from right to left. Now look at 1:35. This could be due to the students moving to defend their home but if we take into account "time to say goodbye" , "sacrifice", 'divide" and "die" it's highly likely that the students are used as instruments for the real villains.
I waited so long for this soundtrack to be released. I bought it as soon as it came out on itunes and I hate itunes. Awesome job uploading this before anyone else.

Most likely becuase that isn't a RWBY song. Jeff said he wrote it years before RWBY and they used it as a placeholder because they didn't have another song that went there.
