Great work, the yamaha really suits you, I'd be tempted to keep it for myself ( I don't know if you have a bike licence ), and I'm looking forward to your next video.
@jerrystamps thanks I am tempted to keep it but I'm going to sell it for another project I've got some big news coming for my channel in the coming weeks so hopefully it will make for lots more content 🤟
Thank you so much! Yes I was getting a little bit braver that the bikes weren't going to break with each pass especially on the yamaha that thing really surprised me🤣
I've ridden a Yamaha Virago 250 Cruiser and it was lots of fun. Light and nimble and cool. Looks very similar to this. I was looking for a bike on a holiday to rent and they had a Yamaha Virago 250. It was so nice to ride in the sunshine. The Yamaha was better than I expected.
I've never actually seen a 250 Virago they are most common as a 535, but from what I've seen online the Virago 250 and the dragstar 250 share alot of similarities but are styled differently, I was very impressed with this dragstar with the very little ride I had on it so I would imagine the Virago is likely even more fun as they are lighter 🤟
Great job, like the yamaha. Suits you prospect 😂. Got a wee cg125 out in the shed I've been working on for over a year on and off, watching you just makes me want to get stuck right into it asap
Another good video. Subscribed a few weeks back, always enjoy the content. Especially the bike stuff. Enjoy the way you dive in and sort stuff out. Keep 'em coming!
also just do away with the vaccum one pipe from tank to carb block others and make sure petcock open next time will save loads of time also on newer ignition cn cause no fuel when its like this brill though worse comes to worse youll get five for the running engine on ebay ideal for the quad conversions on ram 250
Not sure you can do away with the vacuum on these as its a vacuum carb apparently but I'm not totally sure but it seems to run OK now that it's all cleaned and connected back up 👍
@KPP365 parts for the lexmoto are fairly easy to get on Ebay and they aren't too expensive but the new parts won't do alot for the overall value of the bike so I'm trying to fix it without buying to many 😅
I dont know if you're aware of the aluminium foil trick to help clean rusty chrome? You just crunch it up and use soapy water and rub the rust with the foil?👍
1:40 for the chrome use a brillo pad and water gets all rust of then polish
well done on getting them both running bud, keep up the good work 🙂
Thanks will do 🤟

A lot of garages hate changing tyres with fire weld in them.
Good job so far. 👍
Thanks 🤟 I can imagine it's a nightmare with that stuff in them 😅
Fantastic work Sam, l did chuckle when you were going up and down the road faster each time 😂

Thanks, I recommend getting stuck in, nothing worse for a vehicle (other than getting crashed) is it not getting used 🤟

Thanks! It's all a learning curve for me but I give it a go😅 I'll be sure to keep them coming 🤟
Amazing as usual 😁 keep up the good work!
Thank you, will do 🤟
good going sam . the xv carbs can be cleaned on the bike with them being a side ways carb
Thanks 🤟 yes I realised that afterwards would of saved me alot of messing round if I had just left it on the bike to clean it 😅
should probably invest in some JIS screwdrivers if you are gonna play with Japanese carbs. :)
@TRISTANorTRIS never heard of them before but I will take a look at getting some, thanks 🤟
make sure u gasket seal carb manifold etc thats the high revving
Will do thanks 🤟
I've had forks like that. And like I said last time, use tin foil scrunched into a soft ball and rub and they'll come up good 😉
That's all to come in the next video 😉

That tyre weld makes tyres changes a nightmare.... nice work though
Thanks, I can imagine it's a nightmare on a tyre change but that's not going to be my problem ... at least I hope not anyways 🤣
The rubber intake boot looks cracked and split on yamaha
If your on about the part I was changing then it's just the exterior rubber coating that's split the inside is solid 👍
Mint you got it running but please don’t red line the bike or any bike on start up not good for the bike 👍 I like your channel 👍😊
Thanks 🤟 Yeah not my finest moment I got a bit excited when it fired up and didn't immediately cut out 😅
Hi Sam, Can you get parts for the Lexmoto easily ?
@KPP365 parts for the lexmoto are fairly easy to get on Ebay and they aren't too expensive but the new parts won't do alot for the overall value of the bike so I'm trying to fix it without buying to many 😅
@SamsAutoAssortium Cheers, Sam. Love your videos. 👍
Thanks I appreciate that 🤟

Thanks, I actually just tried that yesterday it's all coming in the next video 🤟
I've just commented that again lol and said it on the other video I watched hahah
Someone buy the man a larger plastic container :)
Misses has banned me from using the bigger ones 🤣🤣🤣
Best feeling you can have with your clothes on,,,,, it runs and ticks over .....
I'm inclined to agree with you 🤟
sell me the yam when your done with it pleaseeeeeeee
Should be MOT'd this week when the indicator finally arrives send me a message through my Facebook page if your interested 🤟
If you do buy it, then a hand over video would be great to watch.
@IsnBotterill he hasn't reached out so I'm not sure if that's happening but it's going for MOT tomorrow so it will be fore sale very soon hopefully 🤞
@@SamsAutoAssortium Godd luck with the MOT.
@IsnBotterill thanks I'm hopeful they will pass but not 100% sure they will first try but we will see soon 😅
Laxmoto is identical to Yamaha YBR 125.
Yes from what I've seen about them they are a copy but made of much cheaper material 😅
Wear a crash helmet please
@kod81 yeah my bad I got a bit excited and just kind of road off... luckily my street is very short and extremely quiet 🙈
