I used your idea of a bird table with a few birdies eating seeds as a thank you card for a very kind elderly lady who gave my son six tea towels as he has just moved into his own flat, the reaction took me back some what,she burst into tears, I was thinking is it that rubbish but of course not she was delighted, bless her heart,so now you can add tearful old ladies to your happy list x

I have finally had a chance to try this one, and I'm loving Diane's technique called "smudgey blobs"! (27:20) I didn't quite manage the cool/warm side of the painting, so I will have to give it another go, and remember that! Thanks, Diane!

The bird house is really cute and a nice addition to the birds. I have been working on cool on one side, dark on the other. The house is a great way to provide a seamless transition for the eye.
