Keaton is and will forever be my Batman! I must have seen that movie 5 times in the theater. I’m hoping I can find this Batmobile in my local Targets in the next couple of weeks! Great review as always!

Keaton is easily my Batman. I caught Bat-mania in '89 and it never went away. These 2 items alone bring back some hardcore nostalgia for the Toy Biz Batman line. Can't wait to get these!
Michael Keaton is my Batman for sure, Christian Bale took the lead for a couple of years until I realized nobody could beat Michael Keaton. I'm so excited about this Batmobile, I never had the Kenner batmobile. I would love to have this Batman if I can find it locally, hopefully. I do hope the rumored cinematic 6 pack is a thing... I would love to get that. I'm super excited for a Mcfarlane 89/92 Batman and also '95 and '97. I still don't have the Christian Bale Batman, so there's that too.

The Batmobile is $60, not $80 which is an awesome price. I know were getting a variant of the Batmobile to make it more like the 89 car and itll come with a Keaton fig in a proper 89 suit. The item has been spotted in either Walmart or Target’s system. This Flash version is slightly different.
We’ll probably get a proper 89 Batwing at some point too. We know we’ll get a Returns fig too since that Flash in the homemade suit uses the Returns suit as a base. It has that familiar plated look to it, so the figure is already tooled up.
Keaton was my first Batman. I like them all except Clooney. Affleck was a great Batman and he’s in this movie too in the blue and gray. I think he has about 5 minutes of screen time.
(Possible spoilers) Supposedly, Bale is in there too and is this continuity’s Batman if that rumor is true. Keaton was supposed to stick around and be like a Nick Fury type mentor but the new management brought the axe down on that in favor of it being Bale.

Keaton has gotten screwed twice. Getting cut from the continuity is one and that terrible sounding Batgirl movie getting canned was the other given he was in that too. I just want to see his scenes and Brendon Fraser’s Firefly scenes from that one. He had an interesting looking Firefly suit. He just won an Oscar so you’d think they’d want to take advantage of that and at least dump it online.

I'm very excited for this version of Batman and the Batmobile. The 89 Batman was my Batman for sure. I do like the newer films with Christian Bale but no one can replace Michael Keaton for me.
I’m 42 and I grew up on 66 West and Keaton, but forever my detective Batman will be Kevin Conroy and my movie Batman that’s closest to the brooding comics is Batfleck. He did a superb job in the story of the ultimate edition and Zack Snyder’s Cut of JL. Had he got his solo movie with Deathstroke there would be more Batfleck fans giving him the respect he deserves. Love Keaton nothing against the one who got me obsessed with Batman. Battinson has me intrigued right now. Bale was fine, but not a fan. Heath made his Joker and it’ll never be forgot. The warehouse seen in BVS Ultimate Edition looked straight from the Arkham games and was the best Batman scene on film. The ZS Cut JL Batmobile scene was the best scene for Batman in his Batmobile and ejecting from it. My opinion.

Hi Kyle i am big Batman fan . Even met Adam West when i was 8. Did pick up the 1966 Bat boat today. The boat could had more details on it . I do love it.
The batmobile is perfect for my wants and price point. Just hope there's a running change to make that canopy black instead of grey

I was born in ‘75 so I caught Batman ‘66 in its rerun/syndication years I caught Batman in animation form watching the Super Friends. Then I watched the animated series & another animated Batman series….but also loved the dark direct-to-video films.

That looks like a fun vehicle! I still have my original version that came with the “Shields” overlay, and the pop-up missiles. For sure running out of room for large vehicles, and I have that HasLab HISS coming my way, but it’s the ‘89 Batmobile, it’s so iconic, would be hard to pass up! 😊👍

Kyle, a good job from McFarlane he is playing to fans nostalgia. As a sale $70 for both is acceptable maybe a retailer will entice folks by Being competitive. Kevin Conroy for all Batman media is my Batman he came up with the Bruce Wayne voice and mannerisms. Michael Keaton for live action movies as it was of my time. Great review ✌️
The one you had that you were describing would have actually been the batman returns batmissle batmobile from Kenner. The 89 movie had the toybiz version with the open top that could fit 2 figures actually. This looks pretty good but the cockpit window is raised too high unfortunately. But still surreal to see again after all these years in a new movie!
The figure looks really good. Definitely helped by the soft goods cape. The Batmobile is impressive. I like that it's is in that box instead of the open boxes they've used with the other vehicles. Not sure if I'll buy it but I have a feeling if I see it I probably will. My Batman is probably the DC Comics version just because I read so many comics and have for years.

I remember when the ‘89 Batman film came out and the utility belt was yellow and this updated version is in black. But I think the figure still looks good.

Getting mine this week, both the 7 inch and 12 inch figures and Batmobile. I wish it was $80. However, living in Australia and the conversion rate will set me back a hell of alot more. But I'm still excited.

Mine have always been Conroy and Keaton. This Batmobile looks nice. I know the canopy is a little grey but overall it is a nice piece. I also notice that the bat symbols on the wheels are gold which I'm not so sure is accurate. I do wonder if it is a nod to the Kenner version which did have gold on the wheels. Having said that, toys have always had inaccuracies but it never stopped me liking them. You just have to keep in mind that it is a toy and not the real thing. As long as the fun factor is there, that's the main thing. I do wonder if slightly smaller scale figures would fit in this Batmobile better because the McFarlane figure almost looked too big for it. McFarlane's figure are very big/tall compared to a lot of other 6/7 inch figures. I have Neca Keaton Batman but I don't want to put him in there because I want him on display. However, Mattel did a 6 inch version of Keaton Batman based off the toy from 1989 by Toybiz. It also has a cloth cape. It's not too bulky either. It was not long before they gave the licence away. I do think that perhaps it would be a perfect fit for this Batmobile just due to the size. It doesn't matter that it looks more like the toy than Keaton himself because once he's inside, you can't see him that well anyway. He's a fun figure with good articulation and playability but not really a display piece. I think that makes him perfect for this Batmobile. As long as he has the '89 suit, which he does, I think that makes him a great addition to this Batmobile. I passed on the Mezco '89 Batman, due to the price, the fact that it was an exclusive and also the fact that it looked just like the Neca version anyway. It certainly took a long time to come out.

Bats looks great, but the bend ears sucks, nothing that some heat won't fix. The Batmobile, sculpt is incredible, but the cockpit is an eyesore.

I always liked Michael Keaton as Batman. It's been YEARS since I have seen The first Tim Burton movie, I always liked Batman Returns. I think of Micheal Keaton when I think of movie Batman. Adam West is probably the first one who comes to mind for me when I think of tv. and Kevin Conroy, who was the voice of Batman on Batman: The animated series, is who I think of when I think of the cartoon. But Keaton is probably the best imo. Cool figure. I would have loved something like that Batmobile when I was like 7 or 8. Unfortunately, as a 34 year old man, it wouldn't do anything for me to pick this up.

everything is ok, except for the hideous giant gray colored canopy is a huge let down. Might have to run a custom or something. The box art work is misleading, look nothing like the actual product. Uncle Todd kinda dropped the ball on this one and many other breakable jointed arms and shoulder pieces spawn and batman figures released. Great unbias review by the way.

My Batman is Kevin Conroy. I loved Batman in the 80's 90's and today from comics cartoons reruns of 60's tv show. Batman '89&returns and Batman the animated series. Kevin Conroy had the intimidating voice of Batman. Whenever Kevin Conroy wasn't voicing Batman I wasn't interested.

Had to buy the batmobile as it's an item they will probably never make again in this scale. I like it, love it even. McFarlane always makes things under sized so it's not great for 7 inch figs but I got two 6 inch figures in the cockpit so I have a custom Keaton batman and a Mattel 04 robin in there now. But it's not worth 60 bucks MSRP. 40 bucks sure, but at 60 it should have some pop out guns or something. It's over priced as it is but we are so used to getting squeezed for more that 60 sounds reasonable for hollow plastic shell in the shape of a car we love.
im sure other companies will make a better version that isnt cheap looking

Despite constantly proving time and again there is ample market for 1/12 scale vehicles, no one wants to make them except mattel for their WWE line. In fact, look at their wreck'n vehicles and pricing for comparison on functionality, durability and price compared to the batmobile. I really don't understand the modern industry.

I would've been fine with paying $50 for the Batmobile AND a figure ($20 for the figure, $30 for the Batmobile) packed with it. But hey, companies that starve us for things like this for a couple of years, while throwing us $#!tty maggot bones like the Bat-Raptor, the Metal Cycle, and that stupid, gawdawful Batmobeast . . . can charge whatever they want, I GUESS. I still plan to pay the ten extra dollars for JUST THE BATMOBILE, instead of that price for both (a suh-WEET $80 VALUE 👍). It's the first Batmobile McFarlane is offering to us, so might as well grab two and throw the unopened one in a padded case made of ball-bearing steel with a pin-pad lock, in a closet, on the off chance that they only make so many, and it shoots off the planet of reasonable worth. 😐😐😐
Home run for McFarlane! They handled the updated suit really great. I wish the Batmobile had one or two play features like an electronic engine rumble but at least it looks bad-ass
Keep crappy electronics away from collector toys. All they do is almost double the price. Feel free to mod it if you want that. 😊

Wow, I'm very disappointed with both of these. They look very cheap, bootleg quality. Batman has so much excess plastic in the joints and the horns look so bad and cheap, they are very rounded on top. They look like some insect antennas. And the batmobile just looks super super cheap. Maybe they'll both look better in hand.

Many other toy reviewers usually have the figures facing the camera, when showing articulation. You did not. I quit watching, at that point. Please consider directly showing us the articulation in future videos. Thanks!

@@KylePeterson1980 Yep, I did. The “Toy Shiz” channel has a pretty good video on the Flash movie figures and he shows the articulation very clearly (in frontal view and unobstructed).
That sucks it’s just pretty good. You should take the time to start a channel and do it how YOU want it
