Gave me flashback to the travesty of my NECA TMNT Cartoon Rocksteady leg breaking off in package. After waiting for months,nearly a year, for it to ship from the NECA store. Was my last purchase of that line. Still angry about it.

The DC vs Vampires was a 12 issue limited series, from 2022. I bought it and it was pretty good, especially for modern comics.

Kyle, what are we doing? I saw him in store almost bought him...bought something else instead..he almost beguiled me. QC issues, be gone. No company is without paint flubs and sloppy eyes but straight up- snap! More heat up your toys warnings from Todd too say it ain't so. 🙄✌️
I mean McFarlane isn't the only company with figures breaking recently. Just look at Hasbro's D&D animated line. It was a nightmare of snapped limbs and broken pegs.
Definitely something all companies need to get sorted better as it sucks when a figure breaks.

Yoooooo, my name is Kyle too!! Also, I customized my Vampire Batman. I glued his axe wielding hand to the arm and the axe to the hand. I also cut the cape because I was sick of it covering his right leg.
Update: his axe wielding hand just broke off, so I used a spare peg and Dark Knights Metal Batman’s hand to fix him up.
I’m the convergence series, Wonder Woman goes up against 3 villains from the “Batman red rain” story line. The 3 villains were a vampire version of poison ivy, a werecat version of cat woman and a vampire version of the joker. That comic was good (regardless of the fact that all 3 villains had died in red rain). The vampire version of Batman and the joker never existed in the DC vs Vampires. But there were comic book variant covers depicting both as vampires

I think you said it best in your description, it happens but it still sucks. NECA has been the company for me over the last few years, they snap like twigs it feels like. Hasbro recently as well with the cartoon D&D figures two of the 5 figures snapped limbs for me. I think I've only had issue with one McFarlane figure and I've been collecting since the line started pretty religiously. So I'm happy I've lucked out there.
Definitely worth letting your figures soak after opening them in some hot water, normally does the trick for me to not worry about damage happening.
Joker can turn on a dime, but Kyle can turn on an arm break. Watch out!

I have all my McFarlane figures still in their box. Well I only have McFarlane joker figures still in the box. It’s the fear of breaking them as soon as they get out of the package

Didn't plan on taking mine out of box but I guess this confirms it.
Got the Endless Winter Batman a few months back on clearance and one of the legs stayed in the plastic as I pulled the fig out. Getting it back in place was hell too with that trenchcoat in the way that I'm still not sure if it's in all the way.
Actually, we can't just go to Wal-Mart to get them, because preorders are cancelled, other times employees are grabbing them.
Depends on area he was heavy on pegs at my stores when he came out

Yeah when the shoulder joint is locked in a vertical spot pulling the arm forward horizontal hard like that will usually snap it...rewatched it like the zapruder film in slow mo several times😅😅that does suck tho...watching a kid play with it hard for 20 minutes and it's not breaking but kids aren't as strong as we are either
Same thing happened to me with the ATOM SMASH MEGAFIG... 3 TIMES!!!!

Bought him at Walmart for $20 on clearance, it was the last one. Waited a while to find a spot for him on the shelf. I FINALLY opened the box up and, PHUK!!!... his leg broke off at the knee joint! NO PRESURE at all. None! I was pissed!
A few days later I went to a DIFFERENT Walmart to exchange the fig with the same type. They let me exchange it with just A LITTLE BEGGING for one worth $33.
I got it home, opened it up and, PHUK!!!!!!... that Atom Smasher Megafig knee ALSO BROKE straight out of the box!... what were the G.D. chances!
A few days latter, when I knew I would be in the area, I returned it to the same (second) walmart, and tried to exchange it for another Smasher Megafig. After MORE BEGGING they let me exchange it! GREAT... or was it?
I grabbed their 2 last Atom Megafigs, brought them to the counter to, exchanged for one but this time I opened one right in front of them... PHUUUUUUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... [[BOTH]] LEGS BROKE THE PHUK OFF WITH NO PRESURE!!!!... 🤬PHUK🤬PHUK 🤬PHUK🤬PHUK🤬PHUK!!!!!!!!!!!
3 Atom Smasher Megafigs, from 2 different stores, all had broken legs!
I asked to open their last Smasher but they refused... i was done begging and just got my money back. There was no way they could deny it was a defective batch.
But I was still bummed. I was psyched to find it for $20... and now it had waisted all that time and emotion.
It was like finding out your not you kids father on your kid's 18th birthday... yup exactly like that!

Sorry, Kyle. It's like a good wrestling heel turn. You know it's coming but it's still gripping when it happens. I'm a big DC fan but I find myself losing interest in the McFarlane line and things like this don't help.
Just happened to me an hour ago with the NECA E.T. with light up heart, his arm cleanly snapped off 😑

Never was able to get Vampire Batman...Walmart cancelled my order 2 times then it went to overpriced 3rd party sellers.
I would add the the green mallet to the clown joker to get close to a 7inch super power version ps I'm pretty sure those on based on the cover pretty batman dorsn't become vampire not sure about the joker

I've been collecting mcfarlane figures for several years now (got well over 100 of them) and the only time one broke on me is when I brought it in from the cold and didn't wait for it to warm up and forced a frozen joint! I feel that mcfarlane uses very very durable plastic these days with their figures but like with every toy company mass producing them there's bound to be some duds!
It’s clear how Todd mcfarlane is able to keep his $20 price point for these figures… doesn’t pay for QC.!
Ive also had Neca, legends, gi joes, black series, lightening collection, and wwe figures thats joints snapped out of the package. Its part of the whole deal at this point.

That was what happened like I said before with the mega figure Darkseid and his arms but what I did was press them hard into the holes where they came off the figure is fine now. It's the same thing I did with the Dark Knight trilogy Batman as well hopefully the arm will stay in place like it did for Darkseid.

McFarlane is putting out too many figures in a year, The Con to that is QC issues, I have noticed that QC issues are at and all time high for the past 2 years with pretty much all brands, McFarlane is starting to do the same things as the others and he should step away from that and make his own direction as he was doing at first but lately this doesn't seems to be this. The whole Dark Knight wave is a QC nightmare except Scarecrow.

Absolutely! Toys should not break like that. I've been shying away from McFarlane lately for that same reason.
I got dozens of their figures and it's never happened to me. And I rarely see others encounter this problem with McFarlane figures

It's insane how easy these things snap. I remember snapping the wrist on my Omega Spawn right after you did in your video. I swear i barely even touched it and SNAP! McFarlane has gone WAY downhill with their quality lately. NECA isn't too far behind them.
