@@TheSpartanMartin I had a weird Evap issue that took about a month to figure out but otherwise it was annoying build quality issues like the side skirts coming off. I don't own the car anymore.
Jason Lillis I had it all it seemed the car would randomly decide to not engage the starter due to a grounding issue that the dealer could never figure out. Turbo always dropping down to 6lb boost to limp home, bad sunroof switch, other switches began to decide not to work, rear washer fluid dispenser quit working - no clue how to even get to it. The tires were basically squares when I got it. The list goes on. Still the funnest car I’ve ever owned and only one I could ever push start myself 🤣
@@TheSpartanMartin I have cars that are just as fun now but the looks I got in that car when people would hear it before they saw it always made me laugh. Too bad the quality just couldn't match the fun factor.

@@victornava6981 I came from driving a Dodge Challenger, so it is a difference! This little engine is very spunky and is surprisingly quick for a 1.3 liter powerplant. Years ago, the measure of a performance racing engine was 100 hp per liter, and this gives 136 hp per liter, which is very good. The biggest bonus is the 210 lb/ft of torque at just 2200 rpm. Most testers online say it hits 0 to 60 in about 8.5 seconds, which is very good for this subcompact SUV class. Because of all the torque, 0 to 30 comes up very fast and then it mellows out a little after that. The handling is outstanding and the whole package is a lot of fun to drive. Much, much better than the 2.4 multiair Tiger Shark engine that is in my friend's 2018 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk. This little car will eat its lunch!
That’s really cool you switched from a classic muscle car like the Dodger Challenger to the 500x! Thanks for the nice feedback... I personally was on the go fence about this car before.... but now I want it so bad lol
Seriously kills me that I wanted this car, but to get the Pop version with manual transmission, I would have had to get mine shipped from another dealer. I had given up on buying a new car from the FIAT brand as a whole after this car, and am now looking at other brands with cars I could test drive locally. It's either that or give up on manual transmissions altogether, which I'm not looking to do as an *actual* new car buyer. :(
I had one as a loaner when my 500 Abarth was being serviced and I liked the 500x more than I was expecting to.
So does that mean you had a 500x 90 percent of the time ? Lol 😂 I loved my abarth but pretty sure it was a lemon 🍋

Just stay away from those Multiair engines.
I have owned three of them and never had a single problem. Just maintenance issues that all cars need done.

In America it's a 2.4L NA multiair that's shared with the Jeep renegade.
We don't have that engine in Europe, good to know, thanks
@Johnny Sanngoen nope. The 2.4L multiair (tigershark) motor was a FCA exclusive. The 4B1 is the 2.4L that Mitsubishi uses.
