As someone who has sunk to many hours in this game i cant say it enough if you havent played it, do it. if you have a ps3/xbox360 just laying around go out and pick up the game of the year edition it gives you all the DLC's and the base game. you will not regret it and RDR2 comes out 26th october so please play the first one before you pick up RDR2

I got REALLY happy about the horse care aspect of the game. I am a fan of RDR and I'm dying for the second one, even more now!

@@AMPYMCSTAMPY Yes I did! It remains to be easily one of my favorite games. The storyline, the characters, the raw beauty of the game is fantastic. Also the online version is loads of fun as well!

You forgot the main Red Dead Easter egg in GTAV, which is a wall mural in an alleyway somewhere in the south (I think that’s where). It shows a cowboy on a horse and a cacti strewn landscape silhouetted against a moonlit night.
I hope they let us customize our own characters online like they did with GTA online. I really hope there's more customization as far as height, character weight and stuff like that.

One big fact you missed but it's easy too miss it is the fact that GTA and Red Dead are in the same universe just different era's! My proof is that in GTA Online you could find one of Dutch's Schofield Revolver because you get a txt msg from one of Dutch's relatives which starts the mission! And there's a Red Dead book in GTA 5 in multiple places probably Johns Marstons son Jack who wrote it!.
Also RDR 1 and GTA 5 actually take place on the same land too! There are buildings from that Era still around in GTA 5
