UWF was awesome. Super entertaining/exciting tv shows (regular one and Power Pro Wrestling). We had it here in Southern California.

Mid South - Rapides Coliseum - Dusty Rhodes, Andre the Giant and JYD vs Samoans and Ernie Ladd - Pretty damn good main event.

People, all of the time, have loyalty to their employer, but their employer has no loyalty to them. Wrestling is no different. Your best move is to work for whomever is going to pay you the most money. Bill Watts would rather keep every dollar he could in his pocket. If he wanted to keep his talent, he should've paid better.

The UWF under Bill Watts didn't have the money that the WWF had with Vince McMahon. Watts was no different than any other small territory promoter in the 80s. Professional wrestling was a business where the talent basically got used.
