Bean says I’m not flying I’ve got this human trained !
lol Yuppers! :)
I love how Bean keeps looking over at Bondi on the rope as if trying to figure out how Bondi ended up with butt feathers on face since his colors are kind of opposite of Bondi's. 🤣💖 Then he's like... "Dude... why for are you flying around you crazy bird. She'll just bring you treats!"😁
😂😂😂😂😂
Bean is the cutest parrot ive ever seen
Bondi the Pink Pigeon 🤣
I was desperately willing Bean to fly!
I love this show. I've never bought a type of animal that I have had without tons of studying. I love her.
bean was just revvin' his engine!
maybe he was just trying to teach jamie and dave how to do a burn out :P
Bondi is really pretty! She has the funniest walk along those beams! Bean's doing pretty well really considering how hard it was in the beginning to get him to step up onto your hand.
Imagine NOT being scared to walk around your parrot with bare feet... must be nice 😂
Beans like.... show off!!
They are both beautiful. I absolutely love Bondi. If I didn't have a Weimer, I would consider adopting one.
Oh my goodness! I love this! Bean is a gorgeous and sweet grey. But I absolutely love Bondi! She is so cute!! I love her "hey cutie" and the fact that she does look like a pigeon when she is on the ground. It cracks me up! Thanks for the video!
There are flocks of wild galahs like Bondi where I live in Australia, often hanging out with the native pigeons. Galahs are really friendly with other birds, and it often takes a while to notice all the different birds on the ground (galahs are ground feeders by nature as is common in Australian birds). Hurts my heart to see them in cages like this, though I know they are captive bred. They belong flying free with 20 friends to me.
Omg his little wings lifting like he soooo wants to fly! He’s so sweet
This truly makes me wonder what is going on inside Bean’s and Bondi’s minds. Clearly they are comfortable enough with each other but to imagine the analysis going on… 💕
I think probably at this point it's more an instinctive wariness. Simply watching and gauging the threat level. I do some research into parrot's perception of music, as I've seen so many positive reactions to music in these creatures. We've all seen the dancing Sulphur Crested Cockatoo, but I've seen a Cockatoo play a miniature piano with the same intuitive understanding as a human musician. Obviously the bird doesn't think "okay I'm playing an E major so next I'll go to F sharp minor" but it was banging away on the keys with its beak, up and down the keyboard, creating definite musical phrases, and having the time of its life. This Cockatoo absolutely knew it was playing music.
An Eclectus called Jasper loves to strike metal bowls with his beak and intently listens to the dying reverberations. As a musician and animal lover I find this very exciting and interesting.
FYI the piano playing is a youtube vid called "Talented Cockatoo Plays Piano" ..channel = "Caters Clips". If you are interested at all in parrot consciousness, this video is a must.
I love how much they trust and love you. Awesome.
So cute, both of them!
Again - only when they are next to each other - the difference in grey is very noticeable. I used to think they are basically the same color, but they are not, Bondi is so much warmer.
I guess Bean is much more interested in stuffing his face than flying
Glad Bondi isn't like my boy Chainsaw - your toes would be toast, he's got a bit of a foot thing so it's closed toe shoes in my place. You're showing such patience and love to Bean - wishing you every success and lots of excellent progress for this beautiful creature.
💜Great Video! Absolutely beautiful how much you guys care about Bean!
aww Bondi has a cute little waddle lol x i just found your channel and this vid as well as Bean from years ago.. now i want to watch all of them.. liked and subscribed.. im a cat person but been following Giz the talking African grey.. im now addicted to birds talking.. but it is so moving seeing Bean and how u work with him..
I have to know your birdy bread recipe! I love how the greys make it crispy lipstick!
Bean is getting so chill
Beautiful birds love you ❤️❤️😽
His journey is so wholesom❤
Great video I love your adorable animals even Bean
Aha beautiful lady hehe
Argh! So close to flying!
Come on Bean, you can do it buddy😁
His flight response is so cute! Bondi is such a cute little pigeon.
They are so so cute!💝💝💝💝
Douple the usual cuteness level! I love it!
On the edge of my seat when Bean started quivering his wings. Is there something going on with his primaries? I know you wouldn't clip him or any bird, but...that bird looks clipped.
Let's go Bean!!
He totally wants to fly! I bet it'll happen soon (I know this video was shot a while ago lol)
So are they old vids?
He IS flying, like a pro!!!! 🎉🎉🎉
@@C4mzee probably, considering it looks like summer in the vid and it's middle of winter right now
Always amazing
I do not have my dream bird yet, a grey, but one day I will! I had an Umbrella cockatoo about 20 years ago and my now EX husband demanded I choose either my bird or my family! I will NEVER make that bad decision again and besides, my boys are both in their 30's now!
I don't think it was a great or tragic loss. You have your babies, feathered or not. 😊
Great video! Your birds seem to trust and love you very much
Jamie doesn’t Dave know you NEVER put your feet on the internet for FREE you’re going to have all the strange ones coming in lol
Amd you think they wont come if they pay?
Wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful wonderful
Oh my gosh bean flapping at first….brook my heart…so very sweet and sad….
I love birds so much, honestly, even Starlings!! Greasy, tough dudes. I think they have English accents ( not the posh ones, the other kind where they drop their h on words, because someone brought them here.
Anyway, I am 72, and have 2 precious parakeets named Perky and Bob. I was not very well when I first got them. They are SO smart, but only tame-ish. I do let them out sometimes but, if I don't really carefully it can be a real RODEO.
Truly, if I am faithful to a routine, is it possible to tame a 3 year old and 18 month old bird who really give me the side eye when I try to get them close? I think they'd be so much happier if I could love on them....
Help me if you can, please.

At least the birds have decent posture.
The female parrot is so cute
Such Beautiful Birds
are his wings clipped/were clipped? Maybe he's too used to not flying and thinks he can't do it? Bondi is super cute btw, I love galahs so much
Wunderbar♥️♥️
His kind are great talkers but I haven't heard him talk yet
So dam smart!
For the bottom of your bird cage try to use the seeded paper to cover bottom of cage works perfect
Galahs are really wonderful parrots. I live in Sydney, and we have them flying everywhere around us in the wild, as also with the Sulfur crested cockatoos. But cockatoos, while very intelligent, and can make great pets, are extremely noisy…and if that doesn’t drive you mad, it will likely drive your neighbors nuts. When we get a flock of them flying overhead they almost blast your eardrums when they all screech at once. Galahs are much more peaceful, quiet and sweet natured, I would say…and much less of a challenge.
Happened to me once, I was in a phone meeting while outside walking the cat (long story), and this flock of VERY LOUD cockatoos flew over. Thought I was on mute, but it turns out I wasn't. Had some explaining to do 😂😂😂😂😂
Sounds like a bird paradise!
Yeah, there’s plenty of fascinating wild birds here, for sure.@@bunnytail1370
Yes new vid!!!
Bean looked at you and said...You do that again and I am going to beak you! @1:58
Oh jeez I knew I should’ve trusted my gut when I thought it was Bean meeting Bondi!
I put my trays in black trash bags. Then, to clean, I turn the bags wrong side out as I remove them, which captures all the waste in the bag.
Odd to see a galah outside Australia - I know export has happened, but still odd
Bondi is a wiggle bum....has Bean always had all his flight feathers cut off? I do wonder what kind of life he has lead because he doesnt behave in the way I would expect a parrot to behave?
Stella and Don Grey
If they mated, would the babies be African Cockatoos, or Galah Greys?
Or, would they be a de-vole and which ever one is the female would give birth to a T-Rex?
Why do African greys just look intellectual
Looking for someone with a bit of knowledge about Galahs.
My mum has had one for about 6months. It is destroying anything that's wood within seconds. Door frames , coffee tables, chairs anything.
She's been given branches and had a special wooden stand made which she's destroyed in minutes.
Is there any way of stopping this?
We've had everything from African greys to Cockatoos over the years but nothing has been as destructive.
ruclips.net/video/IMkAKQ18v6s/видео.html
You could put each tray in a thin trash can bag
I am surprised that you are trying to encourage a bird that has uneven wing feathers to fly. The bird knows he can not fly with the condition of his current wing feathers. promote excercise of the wings for sure but promote flying only after it's wings have molted out and the feathers are of proper length and number on both sides of his body.
This great does not talk, does not fly, does not interesting tricks. It is like a statue.
Are they the same size and weight?
Where is bandit? Is he safe? Is he alright?
Bandit passed away like 2 years ago they have a video up about it
Can I ask where you get these birds? Australian parrots are not allowed to be exported. So the only way you can get one is from a poacher. Or the chick of a poached parrot.
Not to keen on you spraying the hose on him. My AGP, gets his showers in the shower with a spray bottle
"conditioning"
It's a galah not a cockato
She’s a galah cockatoo.
@@Serene3574 a cockatoo is large white. I'm an Australian
See the title of this video wherein Bondi is called a galah cockatoo. After your response, I googled the subject and verified that a galah is a species of cockatoo, as is the white umbrella cockatoo you reference.
Shredded paper instead of seeded,sorry
Use butcher paper
😢Sorry fire Bondi. A oartot shall never have a showe like this. In his cage!!
hHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH
this is not a bathing response he is literally looking for a way to get out of the cage
