It was a regular day in homespace and I was busy doing my non-sense until I found two Skykids. One was tall, one was short. The shortie was keep on blushing emotes at the tall person and I assumed the tall guy could be an Ikemen, I lighted up the kid and the other kid and I was right, it was an Ikemen and a random person..? They seemed to be friends since I could see the chat dots on the top of them, though at the same time, they looked like acquaintances. They were literally close to eachother and I was just sitting down next to them while watching the shortie throw blushing emotes and yeeting it at the tall Ikemen. The tall dude then used a resize potion and the dude was abit taller than me, but the girl was shorter than us. Which was funny that I saw between the two, is that the tall one kept raising their hands up unable for the shortie simp to catch it, she made some angry and crying emotes, and we were just making some laughing emotes. Then, the shortie went offline, the tall guy accidentally entered Isle. They returned home and at the time, I was playing the piano, they listened to what I was playing and tall guy decided to befriend me, and yeah the end.
I had this happen the other day only I was the chibi... just- taller- There were these three people talking and I gave an AFK person my cushion from Grandma's Christmas event and so I decided to wait for the person to stop being afk by talking to the people at the table. One of them was Chinese but was able to hold a simple Japanese conversation, someone was Canadian, and the last one was Japanese. We eventually got someone who spoke english like me but they poofed instantly:'D I just kept translating the group's messages and emoting a response. And then they brought up how long eachother has played Sky and I said "2019" and then everyone and I mean *everyone* got up from their places and poofed (except for the two afk people)
awkward moment: when you're chatting with you're favorite sky bestie but you run out of things to talk about so you just stand there doing random emotes while trying to think of something to talk about
Japanese people who I have met in this game are just so cute !! I know they take a lot of time to send the text message but ya I can wait all day for that 😊😊

as a japanese i think the Japanese Ikemen must have tried managed to communicate in english by using all vocabularies she/he knows. I feel for that Ikemen 😂😂😂
i just use a translator keybord so that i can play with everyone; usually my friends translate to my language and i translate to theirs :D you can make an effort too
i love chatting with japanese or foreign players 🥺 my keyboard has a translator and i tend to type in english without using conjunctions since translatiors tend to not pick them up and they dont rlly exist in other languages
I befriended a Japanese player and this is how it goes down for me lmao. The most we say is “see you” to each other when going offline 😆 My Japanese is extremely basic but typing it makes it easier so I try to talk in Japanese when I can!
I never meet normal people on sky lmao, it's either someone that doesn't have the same humor as me or someone that just doesn't speak english at all (I usually don't tell them where i live but either way if they spoke my language i'd ignore them because i honestly hate it and i rather speak english)
