    I thought this was a very honest, unbiased review. I really liked the part about what region and animal designed for. I haven't used the site but during my research sensed this was a solid 40yd or less sight, which is perfect for me. In my Virginia mountains I hunt, anything over 40yds is insane. Even with a perfect shot through all the brush, one would be lucky to find a luminated nock much less the deer that ran 60yds.

    I went with it last year. Your subconscious is the right term. People know when things aren't straight or symmetrical. I wouldnt say this sight is for target panic. I would say howevet it is great for 🌳 stand hunting or for that older archer who has hunted with a recurve & likes the convenience of a compound bow. I shot alot of carp with a recurve & I took to this sight like duck to water. I made my setup so I don't shoot by framing the shoulder to the back of the rib cage. It made me much more accurate. I have a Sapphire SeVen showing up this week & I really like the improvements Aaron made to which was already a great sight. The quietness of my bow is night & day to when I had my slider 1 pin sight on. The adjustments r fool proof & I like how the pitch of the sight changes which your brain picks up when doing adjustments & it makes u square up the sight. I have tape on the windage left to right axle. If I want to remove the peep I can move the sight left until it lines up with my tape mark & I probably have less stray left or right shots that way w/o the peep. Pro style w/o the tick marks is easier & better since u practice on the framing of the shot
    rather than being distracted by all those marks. It's nice when u go Pro style that u do put 1 set of tick marks @ the bottom as a reference. Like a 40 yard follow up shot when the heat 🔥 is on.

    Good review! I hunted with one last year and absolutely loved it. I completely agree this site if for the Midwest whitetail hunter. I would switch back to fixed or floating pins if I went out west and needed to shoot beyond 50 yards. It would also be nice if it had micro adjustments, but once you get it sighted in and tightened up, it’s rock solid.

      T Hill so I disagree agree with the Midwest statement now. I killed at 52 yards with it this year.

    Having never shot this but seeing reviews I had the same question about longer ranges and also deer that are quartering hard or that occasional close frontal shot. I talked to the owner by email about this sight. He's a really nice guy and answered all my questions. It would be interesting to try this. He swears by it at long ranges and he says hard quartering is no problem. I'm still not convinced enough to buy it but then again, I don't have a problem with target panic and 65%-70% of my practicing is at 60, 70, & 80 yards. That's probably my biggest reason for not getting it is the range issue but again, I've never shot it. I shoot well with pins, consistently scoring 200 with my 28" axle to axle PSE Evolve at our local pro shop 3d tourney every month with targets spread out from 18-40 yards. So, not much motivation to pay $150 for a sight I will have to re-learn my shooting. But, you never know. I might just get bored enough to buy one and try it out during the off season. Oh wait a minute! We live in Texas, don't we! We don't have an off season. I haven't even started WT season yet and I've got 3 deer down already this spring/summer. Some people get to the live in the USA but I get to live in Texas!

    Great video.
    Good day. I'm from Belgium and we don't hunt. So we only shoot at target. 18 and 25 meters. or further like FITA distance.
    So that V sight is not for us, I think. Or do you think it makes no difference ? And of course the manual is always in English, often difficult to understand. Because you did an example with your sight and 3 pins. We only with 1 pin, or some with a dot.

    • @infectedoutdoors
      @infectedoutdoors  4 года назад +1

      Walter Eeckels for spot archery like FITA or USA archery I would definitely stay with a pin or dot. I am going to shoot a round at 50 meters just to see what my score is but I would take the dot precision over the V. The V is more suited for hunting IMO!!

    So my question is this. this seems to work on an animal that is perfectly broadside, but what about an animal quartering away or to you? Now with an animal quartering away or to you the impact area is now slimmer or smaller

    • @infectedoutdoors
      @infectedoutdoors  4 года назад

      Tanner Thompson I shot several animals quartering away this year with this sight. The aiming process is the same. Still frame the front of lungs on the shot side shoulder and back of liver on the off side. The way I Sighted in was put whatever I want to hit in the middle of the frame at fixed distance if that makes sense. Check out some hunts from this year to see it in action on live animals. I will be postings a quartering away shot this afternoon
