Not all are unsuspecting. Many know what they're getting into, even the ladies trafficked for prostitution. Some families willingly allow it, you'd be shocked Our authorities must step up vigilance or we'd be overtaken by events. A few adult Nigerian ashawos here and there, no problem, but to have traffickers infiltrate the 'business', or have Nigerian ashawos take over the 'industry', no. Ghanaian universities have Ghanaian student ashawos who do it codedly, but there's a growing trend of Nigeria students here resorting to ashawo to pay the exorbitant school fees.
@Befe, l want to know if this series is only about Nigerians who are not doing well in the streets of Accra. Cuz, there are many Nigerians on the streets who are doing well. Some are selling phone accessories, clothes and other legit stuffs. Others repairing phones, doing mobile money and credit transfer.
