Congregational singing
Westminster Chapel, London
Tune: ST. ALBINUS
Jesus lives! thy terrors now
Can, O Death, no more appall us
Jesus lives! by this we know
Thou, O Grave, canst not enthrall us
Hallelujah!
Jesus lives! henceforth is death
But the gate of life immortal
This shall calm our trembling breath
When we pass its gloomy portal
Hallelujah!
Jesus lives! for us He died
Then alone to Jesus living
Pure in heart may we abide
Glory to our Saviour giving
Hallelujah!
Jesus lives! our hearts know well
Nought from us His love shall sever
Life, nor death, nor powers of hell
Tear us from His keeping ever
Hallelujah!
Jesus lives! to Him the throne
Over all the world is given
May we go where He is gone
Rest and reign with Him in Heaven
Hallelujah!

Wonderful words.. And superb singing, the organist knew how to lead without overwhelming. Can we even begin to think what the singing will be like in heaven?!!!
Bless you for these precious uploads!
Amen . Our sins don’t belong to us because of Christ in the promise of our baptism.
Do they still use the organ?
I doubt it.. More like a soup kitchen now..😒
@@trolleybirdtrolley7127it’s Westminster chapel, it hasn’t. You can find almost all organs still in use in the Church of England.
This generation is going only for rock type music's it's very sad they are not using hyms they all want all disco songs and like to jump and dance in the church there is no discipline in the church like olden days but the church of england and many mainline church are sings it God bless them remember to see once your mother church
@@abhishekgandhad208 it's shame that these old hymns are replaced by morden worship music - blessed that my home church still sings the old hymns.
