Kayak sun shade saved my 1025R

Kayak sun shade saved my 1025R from overheating while mowing in 93 degree heat. A lot of the grass is so dry I was having second thoughts about mowing it today, but tomorrow is the 4th of July and I wanted it to look nice for the weekend fun. The wind was hot and swirling around, and the cut grass was flying around in the air thick. I’ve never had to stop and clean the screen before but today was different. The sun was so bright, and If it hadn’t been for that sun shade I would not have noticed that it was about to overheat. I pulled into the shade of tree, cleared the screens, and let idle for a few minutes, and the temperature dropped off fast.
