Start them out young, i wish i would have started young. I started when i was 13, which was 22 years ago haha. And I'm not even close to be as good as all of you guys. I wish i would have learned theory and actually learned notes, chords, and solos instead of being a rhythm guitartis most of my life

Fredrik Fencke had that tone that's so easy to listen to.... and he wasn't overdoing anything. he just kinda sat in the pocket and delivered the most straight forward solo.
I also really loved Egor and his tremelo picking and string jumping. very well executed. his hands make it look so simple and effortless

All amazing solos! BUT...it seemed like about 90% of that was metal/neo classical...not so much dad rock.
More like young dad rock, for some of them. Probably the older fathers (and grand fathers, too) - many of them wouldn't be playing in that style.

my favorite solo
My favorites are: Jordan Boyd (that beginning + the rhythm of the rest were just tremendous), Crayon (that groove was really tremendous too, especially these dead notes and little interval runs), Mgrocki (gotta love these scratches and squeals), Egor Dyakov (Palm mutes, pinch harmonics, awesome tremolo parts) and Caca Barros (damn these last pinch harmonics: my face melted).
There are many talented people out in our world, but most of the time people don't understand what talent is! Keep going!!!!!!!!!👍

I thought Ivan and Frederick had the best feel and most interesting takes on the material but I have to agree with the winner. He had something really nice lined up both in multiple difficult techniques and a way to tell a story with his solo. Good job to all, especially the first guy who made me laugh hysterically at his daughter trying to mess with him while he recorded.
