  • Alice Fassi documents the Bulgarian spiritual movement using paneurhythmy to reach closer understanding with nature
As influential teacher, philosopher, and creator of paneurhythmy, Peter Deunov - also known as Beinsa Duno - is the founder of a 20th century spiritual movement which, in turn, distanced him from the Orthodox church in his native Bulgaria. Exploring light, music, and dance as a passage to deeper understanding with nature, he developed the dance-like ritual as a manifestation of the supreme cosmic rhythm, channelling the physical, and the spiritual, alongside human thought, in an outward embrace of the light, and the greater good. With music as its universal language, the modern-day community continuing Deunov’s spiritual teachings do so through collective movement, gathering in dance to observe the practice originated by its founder... read more on www.nowness.com

Every Easter me and my fam would hike up to a mountain during sunrise and do this dance with a small spiritual group in San Diego. Not religious myself, but it was a wholesome experience with a community of loving people. The instruments were magical

Aïvanhov said, "dancing the paneurhythmy enables you to learn to adapt your thoughts, your sentiments and your actions to the most harmonious rhythms of nature."

Stunning film. I would recommend everyone read the Master Mikhael Omraam, the white bearded man shown in this film, his wisdom has impacted me profoundly.
"It seldom occurs to people that members of an orchestra or choir are not free to play or sing however they please; they have to respect the notes, the tempo and the shades of feeling indicated in the score. Well, believe me: humanity is not a very good orchestra or choir; it produces too many discordant notes! All the members sing at the tops of their voices and play whatever comes into their heads; it is enough to make anyone block their ears. Every human being thinks they have the right to sing whatever they like." ~Omraam
