When you're new to art, painting doesn't have to be mysterious or daunting if you have a good teacher like Jenna to guide you through the basics!

The amount of learning material you’ve made over the years is just insane! You could open a Jenna Rainey watercolour A-Z library

I'd never really thought of watercolour being in the middle of ink and gouache, that's a great explanation ❤

2:08 great explanation 👌 I love using watercolour dyes super fun colour choices, but it’s not very lightfast so I use it more for digitizing my work

Loved your show.... Have you ever used watercolor pencils? I use Pencils , Gouache, and Watercolor. Depends on what I'm doing. Derwent even has Tinted Charcoal which is water soluble, which it then becomes vibrant and permanent. I'm a beginner and currently exploring everything. I'll have to watch your other videos 👍

Lots of good info! Thanks, Jenna.
If you only have watercolor (and white gouache)and you want to add a lighter accent onto a darker base color, could you mix white gouache into the lighter watercolor to make it opaque?

Questions are liquid watercolor and watercolor ink the same thing? When using these products,do you have to use different brushes or rinse really well between? Will the inks stain your brushes?

I know most liquid watercolors are not lightfast so will fade over time. Is Gauche lightfast?

Inks sounds fun but unforgiving in being able to change color directions...
