Shouldn't you use ADB or ADBTV to completely disable the default launcher? I don't know how to do this but other people are saying if you use the accessibility setting it does not disable the default launcher which will run in the background and can cause Shield lag because it's using resources.
I love Projectivity Launcher: I happily paid the asking price, even for the non-essential features, as it's not a requirement. I use it on both my sluggish Sony Bravia TV and, more importantly, my 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro. The randomized backgrounds are a nice perk, but what I truly appreciate is the snappy, minimalist interface without any ads, unlike Roku or Amazon. Everything is more efficient, faster, and simply more enjoyable! Just wanted to let you know that there are no ads, and paying for this app is entirely up to you.

Launcher's name is missing on the title, description, pinned comment, hashtag collection and thumbnail. You mention it once after the 5-minute mark. For anyone wondering: it's the Projectivy Launcher.

Finding this months later but THANKS SO MUCH !! This was the missing puzzle piece to make a fine Plex turnkey system for my Dad in the other common room!
This is great but anyone have any idea how to enable to the user defined background image? I see its greyed out in this tutorial and its also greyed out for me.
This launcher would be perfect if you could make it to where you didn't have to "scroll" the apps. . I like the apps on FLaucher and how you can tell it to put so many apps on a row, before creating a new row underneath it.
@@TechFigure ATV Launcher and FLauncher can do this, but neither one are being updated anymore, doesn't look like. I'm using ATV Launcher at the moment.
Was looking for a replacement to the stock launcher, glad I found your video! Ended up purchasing the premium, this launcher is a huge improvement over the stock launcher.
I'm not able to add Netflix and Disney+ as the preview. It's not showing up in the list (I have just the app icon). Others are there but not these two. Did something change?
how do you apply an image to use as a "Wallpaper" when you select choose image it " doesn't recognize the app" have 2 file exporers and cannot locate it, cant use USB, due to formating issues, any other suggestions? thanks
Every time I press the back button, the TV exits the launcher. This is the case with this one and with Flauncher. As good as they are, I will never use them because of that problem. Why should I use a launcher that exits like a normal application? So far I have found only 2 good launchers: Emotn UI and ATV launcher.
