I hope you are referring to the 2nd column, that is actually squared so once you square a negative number that will result to a positive number. I hope that is your question about. And then sa second one Yung simple variance, first nyang ginawa is she just subtract first the given number minus the answer from the sample mean. And after computing those, the answer from the first box is she just put square just like (-5.57)² And after that just add all the answer. That is why di mo magets is shinorcut lang talaga niya and then sa 6 Naman she just minus it 7-1 and the answer is 6 And After that this gonna be 107.7143 or 107.71 ---------- 6 And just compute it on the calculator And the answer for the sample variance Is = 17.95
