This recital doesn’t appeal to me. Gedda sounds older than his years here. Too bad, as he gave me an unforgettable opera experience when I saw him in Manon with Beverly Sills at SFO.
Ma lo ascolti approfonditamente prima di dire baggianate simili...manca di rispetto a Gedda e a chi ne capisce veramente di musica lirica...Gedda è stato fra i più grandi tenori di sempre, altro che lontano dal repertorio
