This edit was done in 2011, after NIN re-released Pretty Hate Machine in 2010. I thought that it will be a good idea to celebrate the reissue in this nostalgic way.
It's another tour compilation, multicam from 11 different sources, full or partial from the 1989-1991 shows. Various quality, various shows. Mixed from various bootleg recordings and used some of the official recordds that available from those days.
It's a bit of remix/remaster of the separate recordings, that i uploaded earlier.
Setlist:
00:00 Now I'm Nothing
02:10 Terrible Lie
07:27 Sin
11:00 Something I Can Never Have
17:32 Sanctified
23:17 That's What I Get
27:53 Suck
33:15 The Only Time
38:20 Kinda I Want To
43:28 Get Down Make Love
46:45 Ringfinger
52:43 Down In It
57:09 Head Like A Hole
01:03:13 Suck (with Pig)
Trent basically added a little grunge to industrial, and boom, you got yourself an emotional dark, beautiful peace of art.
Great point , I think that somehow that formula should still exist
I find more pop in NIN than industrial, they just cover it in the heavy mood.
And melody
@@sofoclesmefisto I bet there is….
The question is where RUclips, google, and children who teach or play, produce could possibly find here now.
So we need #RickRubin!
@@quartani that golden era of Ministry , NIN , Skinny Puppy , Front Line Assembly was built on circumstances of their time but yeah , somehow such sound should still be emulated why not
That terrible lie performance. HOLY FUCK
He wrote it while golfing, terrible lie!!
No shit right
what do you mean?
I have written stuff in my sleep, in the shower and also while withdrawing my ass off from opiates lmao
this was best NIN !
I wish in some way trent would release now I'm nothing !! Fuckin epic song
It's kinda just an intro for Terrible Lie. I agree that it's good.
And also Non Entity.
I'm...sifting through the ashes
Of...what I have become
Huh, Trent once wore a baseball cap onstage. Ya don't say.
idk why but i'm vaguely remembering a post on tumblr where he and ohgr shared the same hat over the years... that's precious
"Something I can Never Have" is my Louis to the Vampire Lestat de' Lioncourt in Interview with the Vampire theme song as Louis mourns his loss of humanity. They played this when I was at Gothrotica a fetish goth club and was reading all the Dark gift novels, when they played this song. If Lestat of the novels not the Amazon series but the books formed a band, like in Queen of the Damned it would be Nine Inch Nails style in my opinion. They made the Dark Industrial grunge sinister yet so inviting.
Man every video of Nine Inch Nails you put together and upload is a brilliant and beautiful work of art! Thank you for the endless amount of time and energy you put into making these!
90s was GLORY!
how so?
Trent Reznor here is god and the fallen angel Lucifer in one person
Wrong. He's just very human.
Pretty Hate Machine- The Fragile were my childhood. Still play them to this day while I workout, these albums are Pervitin to my ears!
when i was runover left for dead 2005 crippled in hospital on morphine i learnt to walk again with this album it is ace for when you want to find a prick and beat him to death with crutches
I wish he would do a concert tour of just pretty hate machine all the songs that would be f- - - king awesome
They're doing new tron soundtrack, I'll bet it has elements of PHM
I was at a show of there's in 89 or 90 in Detroit. The stage was the same in some of these shots.....great work. And a great show.
Never getting tired of your NIN projects.
Continue the amazing work
In this place, it seems like such a shame
Though it all it looks different now, I know it's still the same...
Everywhere I look, you're all I see
Just a fading, fucking reminder
Of Who I Used to Be
That Suck version is with PigFACE and not simply Pig. Big difference.
Wtf man, I cannot stop listening to this fkn intro, iiiii am gonna guck myself up, it's fkn great. Love you Trent❤
All that I can do
Is break myself in two
I fucked it all away
And now I'm nothing

Wow, This is brilliant. I was looking for this for 2 years.
I miss the covered in mud, self deprecating, agonizing Trent. His music is still great but the show lacks...
he kinda grew up, sorry people change . i agree with you , but everything change , nothing stays the same, and he got less to be pissed about
The song "March of the pigs" is literally about people like you. Also he's in his 50s. Of course he can't throw himself around the stage like he used to.
@@darklydread so is ohgr's cracker
@@darklydread it'd be kind of cool if he threw himself around like a pool noodle though lmao. he's in good enough shape to do it
Best period of the band. Kek @ Trent rocking the Nivek Ogre look with the army cap.
Is that Al Jourgensen singing Suck with Trent?
Thank you for bringing my best memories of a 15 year oldyear a free teen goth chick.
Just findin my people and grove.
Still my favorite main music must have, on hand collections.
I had a English assignment and brought in head like a hole. ☮️🌚✌🏻😈🎧👆🏻💀👽🙌🏻👊🏻👍🏻
hahah yes! for english i once used "something i can never have" as an example of a modern love song hahaha
@@drillbag I wanted to bring the only time but being 15 in 10 grade I knew it would be pushing it.
But I think I was a head of my time!
*for the last song(suck) this is not with Pig but with Ogre from skinny puppy.
This is with the band Pigface
Nope. It was written by Trent (with credit to Martin Atkins and Paul Barker, although this version with it's altered bassline is all Trent). First appeared on the Pigface LP Gub (1991). Read the credits. It appeared on the next Pigface album Welcome To Mexico....(1992), with Ogre performing vocals, but Ogre was not a contributing songwriter.
@@NachtSchreck13 ogre was in that video though. And he’s correct that it’s not Pig. Pig is Raymond Watts, who had nothing to do with the song or that video (although I’m pretty sure he’s played with Pigface at other times)
Yeah, assumed it was Pigface was crossing my fingers for some Raymond Watts action. A NIN X PIG collab would be insane.
Back when NIN was interesting.
Oh God it sounds so good! Thanks for the upload ♥
the colors
Love Pretty Hate Machine! So happy I found this
Top 5 album of all time
This is incredible. Thank you very much.
30yrs nine inch nails
Ahhh the first days.
So naive, full of energy.

El Tour.... Hermosa Máquina De Odio de los Clavo de Nueve Pulgadas... en vivo...
This is incredible work. Thank you.
Kinda I want To needs to be bought back into live rotation...
Oh my goodness! Nice.
Excellent work. Very consistently put together.
haha Those orchestral hits in Sanctified
There are no orchestral hits in Sanctified.
@@NachtSchreck13 19:12
Insanely awesome
Nice work. Wife is cranking this on the TV right now.
Your wife and I should be bffs, I will never tire of cranking NIN to 11. 😊❤
I need 2 kinds of help.
1 - I need to know NIN and would like to know their 5 best albums to start
2 - Need to start more into industrial music (I've already know that KMFDM album from 1995 that has Mortal Kombat's Juke Joint Jezebel). I need 6 must need albums (3 from the 80s and 3 from the 90s).
That's all and thanks in advance!
Did you end up getting into NIN? 😮
37:25 LOL
The oldest NIN shows have more classic industrial elements…esp movie dialogue clips…I think after this era he stopped trying to copy skinny puppy and ministry and just did his own thing.
HOLY SHIT !!!!!!!!! That part in Sanctified is one of the darkest shit ever man , thanks !!!!!!
What part of it?
anyone think he kind of looks like orphan? i just realized
Yeah, this is gold
Great job. Congrats and thanks for editing, uploading and sharing.
The guitar in the live intro to Sanctified sounds like the guitar from "Help Me I Am In Hell."
I'm playing Head like a hole with playing speed @1,25, it kicks ass.
Something I Can Never Have is phenomenal
awesome show.... glad you were feeling nostalgic in 2011.... awesome work, by you and NIN..........
