Hendry Urbano's story

Hendry Urbano is a professional tuba player from Venezuela. In 2019, Hendry's life was threatened during his country's political turmoil, so he left and traveled to North Carolina where he resides with family members. In this video, Hendry discusses his musical background as well as how he came to find his way to North Carolina.
Hendry has been playing with TWE on a borrowed student-level tuba, but to enable him to perform on an instrument suitable for a player of his calibre, we have organized a fundraiser to purchase a professional quality instrument.
