Nice reaction 👍 Eddie Betts is the most freakish goal kicker the game has produced, has won goal of the year on numerous occasions. Lance 'buddy' Franklin is one of the all time greats! Both have their own highlights packages, some of which you've just seen. The guy I consider to be the Goat is Gary Ablett snr he also has his own highlights package, but careful not to confuse with Gary Ablett jnr, he is also up with the greats. Another player highlights package worth looking at is Nic Naitanui, he is an absolute freak. Keep the AFL reactions coming 👍
@@Mirrorgirl492 Tony Lockett is the games greatest goal kicker in terms of volume, and was regarded as one of the most accurate set shots at goal, and in no doubt one of the greats. But certainly not a freak like Eddie
Yeah Eddie Betts is my favourite as well. Not playing anymore, retired a couple years ago, I still get an Eddie fix from youtube, check out "Eddie Strikes Lightening" it's only about 20 seconds long but it's still one I watch all the time. Lance "Buddy" Franklin (still playing but his age is showing) does have more range but Eddie was more of a magician.
There is no 'best' team in the AFL. We have this thing called "salary cap" so every team has the same amount of money to spend every year to make the league equal. The team to beat this year is Collingwood but it changes every year which makes it more interesting.
Carlton and Essendon have won the most premierships, 16 each.Hawthorn have won at least one premiership in every decade since the 60s.Collingwood won four in a row back in the 1920s.Melbourne, Brisbane and Hawthorn have won three in a row.Port Adelaide won 36 premierships in the SAFL before joining the AFL.It is difficult to win a premiership and almost as difficult to remain in contention to win a premiership over a prolonged period. My advice is to watch the game for a while and over time you will find you like a particular clubs game style, players and uniform.Only Fremantle, Gold Coast and Greater Western Sydney have never won a premiership but that will be corrected over time.Currently, St. Kilda, who have only won one premiership are at the top of the ladder, however, injuries, tactics and the draw will have a big say in which club is at the top by the end of the season.
Nice react man. We can appreciate you see the skills these guys have. Imagine trying to curl an NFL ball from those angles while on the run and under tackle pressure. It’s bloody hard. The two most hated teams are Essendon & Collingwood. They have loads of cash and the most cups, so it makes sense. Just some food for thought
Where you live is the best team. If you live in Collingwood you probably barrak for Collingwood. Back in the 50's before it went national, when it was VFL, footy teams all came from the suburbs in Melbourne,Victoria, . Now there are so many new suburbs I dont know if they make their own teams, prob not.
If you want an excellent Eddie Betts video to react to then I suggest: Eddie Betts ● The Pied Piper It shows a bit of everything he does well and not just goals but great marks, tackling pressure and agility. Its also a very well edited video.
Mate, loving your reactions to AFL! Since AFL has been around for such a long time and there are so many players per team it's hard to say who the best is. Some say people from the 70s, some from the 90s and 2010's. AS I've been watching since 2000, I'll stick to that era, I'd say Buddy Franklin is the best. There are many others like Dustin Martin, Gary Ablett Jnr (his dad is considered the GOAT by many), Adam Goodes, Chris Judd, Andrew McLeod, etc. What's great about AFL is you can have great players of all sizes. Eddie Betts one of the greatest in his position is only 5'8, whereas Buddy Franklin is 6'7 and 230lbs and fit as. Tho this will be his last year as he's 36 years old now. - Lance 'Buddy' Franklin - (ruclips.net/video/HgM3W6gnJGg/видео.html - you should watch this. It's him kicking 1,000 career goals, 6th person to do it in history and he played it a way more defensive era than the people ahead of him. It's wild watch happens after he kicks the goal. Another recommendation is "Best of the Decade: 2010-2019 | Thrilling Finals | AFL" ( ruclips.net/video/vfdHl6kYDNA/видео.html ) its pretty exciting video with a lot of game highlights

Eddie Betts is the modern day goat of freak goals. The OG is Peter Daicos - check out his career highlights from the 80s and 90s.

When has St.Kilda been on top of the ladder this year? It's been the pies or the lions :/
AFL players are unique athletes and most Australians have this ability at a young age the mind set of the game

Best club of all time is admittedly Collingwood made 43 grand finals at 16-27 win loss record
Yeah all pros can kick with both feet. If they don’t then they have a extreme disadvantage
