Today is 09/26/2024!!! Today I am officially a GED graduate! I passed the science, language arts and social studies back in 2015. Math was my only road block! After multiple fails and anger and doubts I kept putting it off. I’ve been put in a position to obtain the ged or lose my job! Given a deadline of 3 weeks I accomplished my goal and passed the math ged with a score of 148! I owe it all to these videos! I went from a failing 144 to a passing 148 in just 1 week of studying and watching these videos! Thank you very very much! Changed my life!
I wanted to say "Thank You. I am 66 years old and just passed the Math section of the GED test on the first try. The Math section was the last section I needed to obtain my GED and I was dreading it and scared of failing. I took and passed the Language Arts, Science, and Social Study the previous week, passing all of them on the first try also, by using your channel to study. Your channel was the reason I passed all the test, I can not tell you how much it meant to me to find your channel. Please keep doing what you are doing it really meant a lot to me and I learned and it helped me remember (after 50 years of being out of school) how to successfully do the math. I'm in the same boat... im 59 and going back after leaving the work force in 1988... pass all of the ged tests with no problem, but the math is killing me. My test is September 22 2023, and I've been watching this video over and over. Fingers crossed. Congrats on passing... you're never to old to learn new things. 🌺
God bless you. I am 48. And I want my high school diploma. I only have the certificate that I completed. I failed the HSCT test that was required to graduate in the 90'same in Florida. I only failed the math part by 7 points. So no diploma. I feel like I will not ever get it.
math is my last subject, i’ve watched all your videos on how to pass the GED and i’ve passed all of them on my first try, you have really helped me a lot. I’m very bad at math so hopefully this video also helps me out, i haven’t made an appointment for my math GED yet in fear of failing, but i will study as much as i can to finally accomplish something.

@@leangelawynn9974 i wasn’t able to pass it on my first try only cause i was so nervous i doubted myself, i failed by one point which honestly made me mad but when i went back the second time i ignored everything and just trusted my gut. i passed the second time which was a big relief, everyone is different and my experience might not be the same as yours but the best advice i can give you is to just trust yourself, and study lol

I'm about to watch this video, I recently took a practice test n got a 137, then studied my butt of and purchased the Kaplan online I took another math practice test this morning and scored 152. I'm scheduled for next Tuesday to take the test and math is my last one please pray for me ❤
Passed all my GED courses thanks to these courses on my first try. Thanks for helping. I honestly thought I failed the test today and was considering retaking them but as I waited for my bus I got my results and I passed. Thank god I never have to do this again. Now college. The harder and more annoying test lol.

I’m studying for the math portion it’s all I have left, I have a question at around the 10:00 mark the question about the cheese combinations, what would happen if the total number of objects was let’s just say 10. Does that mean you’d go 10x9x8x7 and so on? Or are questions like these they only use low numbers such as 4?

A question like this could be any number, not just a low number like 4 (although I highly doubt they'd give you a big number like 800). I hope this helps answer your question. I'm practicing for my upcomming test, but at 12:23 I'm distracted because how the question is worded makes me feel like it should be *inclusive* of picking two of the same cheese when that's not an answer and the equation says you can't
Hi! Thanks for watching and for your question! This is the standard way to solve combination problems. The reason why you do it this way is kind of complicated and this video explains it better than I can ruclips.net/video/wKgiSUnbLxE/видео.html . For the purposes of the GED test, you don't necessarily need to understand why the formula works, just how to use it. To answer your second question, if n=3, then yes, you'd do 3x2x1. I hope this helps!
kinda confused why im getting 9.00 when I put in the same Ac formula into the caculater and u got 15.96. What am I doing wrong??? (finding the diameter)

I have failed the math test 4 times - 143 points, was going to take the test this Friday but changed my mind, I passed the other 3 GED test on the first try, the math test is really frustrating because I study, watch videos and just don't pass :-(

Hi, thank you for watching. Yes, 8 is the correct answer for the median, which I stated at about 30:35. At about 29:48, I explained that picking 3 without ordering the numbers is a common mistake. For the question on which pairs of decimals should the fraction be between, why would you not just convert the fraction to a decimal? Unrelated, thanks for making these videos. I'm hoping to get my ged in a few months so I'm trying to figure out now how difficult the math will be.

I totally agree, I have autism and struggle with learning from books because I'm a hands-on learner they truly make it hard for people with learning problems
Was in resource throughout school. In 10th grade I was learning add and subtract. I asked to learn more difficult stuff but public schooling sucks ass in the late 90s and 2000s.
Does anyone know of any ACTUAL websites or study guides that will help me pass? I've been trying to do this stupid test for over a month, I found local classes and they are literally less than useless. I'm sick of wasting my time and money, I'm sick of waiting and waiting and waiting. Are there any ACTUAL, REAL solutions to passing this BS?
@@patronzulfan Someone who took the actual test suggested that you study slope and graphing equations, add and subtract numbers in scientific notation form, combinations and permutations, functions w/tables and word problems, finding the slope, finding the area and circumference of a circle... Gosh I feel bad telling you to study all of this, but it is what I've studied. Just study everything you need to brush up on. No need to study it if you already know it well! Good Luck!

People said that most of the questions on there is also on the actual ged ready test and it’s what I’m studying now! A woman said she passed with a 171 so I’ll have faith in that video! 😆 Just wanted to come back let you know this info cause I know how hard it can be finding good sources!

If I fail today I’m gonna snap 😂😂 I got a 143 without being in school for decades a 143 again after 5 months of study and a 144 on my last attempt I’ve spent two. Months on geometry and algebra and I feel hopeful 10am is my test time

Half of this stuff you can plug into the calculator instead of doing a long drawn out problem learn how to use the tx-30 calculator it’ll help a lot with quadratic equations and stuff

I'll tutor you. Post here a problem you can't solve and I'll show you how to do it.
Try to google words for definition, also learn to use the calculator that is a great tool

I’m studying for the math portion it’s all I have left, I have a question at around the 10:00 mark the question about the cheese combinations, what would happen if the total number of objects was let’s just say 10. Does that mean you’d go 10x9x8x7 and so on? Or are questions like these they only use low numbers such as 4?

A question like this could be any number, not just a low number like 4 (although I highly doubt they'd give you a big number like 800). I hope this helps answer your question. Hi! Thanks for watching and for your question! This is the standard way to solve combination problems. The reason why you do it this way is kind of complicated and this video explains it better than I can ruclips.net/video/wKgiSUnbLxE/видео.html . For the purposes of the GED test, you don't necessarily need to understand why the formula works, just how to use it. To answer your second question, if n=3, then yes, you'd do 3x2x1. I have failed the math test 4 times - 143 points, was going to take the test this Friday but changed my mind, I passed the other 3 GED test on the first try, the math test is really frustrating because I study, watch videos and just don't pass :-(

Question Mean media mode and range, don't you put the numbers in order so the median should be 8, not 3?
Hi, thank you for watching. Yes, 8 is the correct answer for the median, which I stated at about 30:35. At about 29:48, I explained that picking 3 without ordering the numbers is a common mistake. For the question on which pairs of decimals should the fraction be between, why would you not just convert the fraction to a decimal? Unrelated, thanks for making these videos. I'm hoping to get my ged in a few months so I'm trying to figure out now how difficult the math will be.

Was in resource throughout school. In 10th grade I was learning add and subtract. I asked to learn more difficult stuff but public schooling sucks ass in the late 90s and 2000s.

@@patronzulfan Someone who took the actual test suggested that you study slope and graphing equations, add and subtract numbers in scientific notation form, combinations and permutations, functions w/tables and word problems, finding the slope, finding the area and circumference of a circle...
Gosh I feel bad telling you to study all of this, but it is what I've studied. Just study everything you need to brush up on. No need to study it if you already know it well! Good Luck!

Mostly all these questions are very similar to the ones on the real test , so this would really help if you’re studying to pass GED math
If I fail today I’m gonna snap 😂😂 I got a 143 without being in school for decades a 143 again after 5 months of study and a 144 on my last attempt I’ve spent two. Months on geometry and algebra and I feel hopeful 10am is my test time

Half of this stuff you can plug into the calculator instead of doing a long drawn out problem learn how to use the tx-30 calculator it’ll help a lot with quadratic equations and stuff
