I officially passed my GED this month. My final test was math, which I spent 6 hours a day for about 3 months studying for. I hate math and I’m not confident in my math skills, but I passed math with a score of 158. I used a mix of RUclips videos, khan academy, and a ged math workbook for studying. You guys can do it, even if you don’t put in as much work as I did. This channel is especially great at showing you what types of things you’ll see on the test. Stay determined!
Thank you so very much for all of your help with your videos. Yesterday, I passed my last test, which was math. I'm 51 years old and now have my GED. Thank you!!!!
I want to thank you!! I just got done taking all 4 tests and I passed on the first try my highest scores where math and science. I have watched almost all of your videos and it helped me so much! I can now move on to better things. Thank you!! Much love!
Yes they are. Not the same wording but it's so close it help me so much I wish you the absolute best you got this your amazing and smarter then you thank!!
I scheduled the math GED test on October 24th 2023, and took it on October 26, 2023. I passed with a 151, thanks to your videos. Thank you so much, Parker!!❤
Hi Parker, I want to thank you for your hard work and explanations about the Ged. I just passed my Ged today and I got the highest score in math 155 in which I failed for the first try with 144. I am so grateful for all that you are doing. I’m now a Ged graduate. 🎉🎉 I have been watching your videos before going for my tests and they are so helpful. You’re the GOAT. ❤❤❤
I needed this updated video , I took my test recently and I failed by 11 points because most of the questions were about slopes x&y. Also simplifying & more etc but as I mention most of the questions were based on these fomulas. I have to study some more and take the test again. Thanks , video was very helpful.
@@ALiensmoney-k5x well for me since I’m in Miami FL , I’m not sure if it’s the same for every other state. For me there weren’t the same at all of course it had most of the easy subject on the test for me like 90% of it was slope and simplifying equations just like this video. Mostly X - Y & slopes and also radius & the pie formula. My advice is to study x-y negative and positive equations just incase.
This math is like handling wet noodles .. the whole thing has gotten way out of had . I’m sorry to be negative just have been trying to get a grip on this for almost a year now and I’m stuck .every part of this video is annoying.
@@TheBenwaugh69 a whole year ? Bro you’re not even trying cause I’ve been procrastinating for the past month and it’s easy just have to remember them … take a walk bro, get your mind off stuff and then study. You got this 💪
Hey man, I just want to say I appreciate your videos and watched them for 3 days building up to my math exam. I failed it the first time but passed it today. Mightve done better the first time if I found your videos then. Anyways thank you for making these videos and I hope you are doing well.
@@smiling_spirit6495 Passed it all and got it in 13 days, so I can get in the military faster. Just watch a lot of test prep champions and others on different subjects, have a basic understanding on the subjects, study however long, just make sure you are actually learning, and take the practice test and once you do that, then schedule your real test and study until then, eat a lil before your test and pray, take a deep breath and pass it, it's not hard, but it can get tricky. If you don't know the answer, then guess to the best of your ability. Good luck, I'm rooting for you.
@@smiling_spirit6495 all I did was study 2 days to bout 5 until I thought I was ready, plus I still had some HS knowledge. So I applied all of that and crushed it
I understand to find the like terms and combine. But I’m confused on when I rewrite the problem if I should plot a minus or addition sign when resetting it up. How do u find which sign is used when they have add and minus throughout the problem. For example there is an addition sign next to 4x. What made u choose to minus 2x from it?
I think I understand what you are asking. If a number has a + or - sign in front of it when you move it, each number owns the sign that is in front of it. So, when you move it the sign in front of the number goes with it. you can think of the minus and addition signs in algebra as being positive and negative signs. -2 is two negative +4 is four positive. So if you add -2 to 4+ it would be +2 (two positive)
How do you solve a problem asking a question like this? "For model 5, the tip of the blade travels 0.18 mile per revolution. What is the approximate speed, in revolutions per minute, for model 5?" (this question was brought from a GED ready test) There was more information in a chart.
The test is garbage it’s not relative to real world experience. It’s absolutely a disappointment. I’ve watch the ged test fold over it’s self to help people pass yet become more vague and distorted. I’ve failed math 6 times 5 on computer and once prior to the test being issued on computers. The vagueness has me questioning the realty of the test in genral . Not an excuse for not passing but a basic human observation I’ve made.
I’m just trying to get a job scrubbing toilets and this math has held me back since it was a paper test pre computer. Wasted alot of money trying to catch this computer trend . I’ve passed all the other test twice . Once on paper and now on the computer. The math has always eluded my hyper creative issues. The computer screen really bothers my eyes I struggle to take any of this with a real world perspective. I’ve gotten used to failing . But just at this math test .
Hi, thank you for watching. I'm sorry that this video wasn't what you were looking for and apologize if watching this was a bad experience. I take feedback from comments very seriously and have used it to make changes to how I make videos in the past. If you have any specific questions about the material in this video, I'm more than happy to try to help you. I'm wishing you the best of luck on your test. Again, I really appreciate you watching and am sorry this video wasn't helpful for you.
im just confused because its like your only teaching people who already know how to do the math problems your truly not helpful for people in need of step by step explanation. like you don't give reasons why, you just simply do the math problems and don't break it down in detail. you should go deeper and treat these videos as if you where walking your younger self through everything for example lets say I had to do a quiz on multiple artist in a gallery and say who they are and name them, but you only show me their art and don't tell me who they are or their name how am I gonna know if you don't break it down and tell me

@14:44 you can also just ask yourself, how many times does 100 go into 1000, then multiply the top by the same (10)
that last one got me for sure lolz. Adding this to my other notes for sure, thank you very much.
