Thanks for posting this Martin. I was so looking forward to the Jag lineup but illness prevented me from making the journey so at least I saw them in you video. 👍
I think they are used at RAF Cosford, not sure how or to what degree. Would love to see 1 fly or even racing run. Tbh last year these were all hidden, so nice to see them out in public
@@coningsbylive In the eighties my late best pal and I trawled the East Anglian airbases at least once a year and Coltishall’s Jags were a favourite, some damn good pubs in the area too 👍
Great memories for me. I was the project leader / manager on the FIN1064 Inertial Navigation and Weapon Aiming system fitted to the Jaguar and later the FIN1063 system fitted to Bucaneer. I certainly managed to get around in support of the project. Lossiemouth, BAe Warton, Brough and Farnborough and the Range at Deccimomanu in Sardinia. 😎
Can't say I've seen a Jaguar in flight before, I've missed out there big time. Looks a mean jet just sitting there, and some real tasty looking undercarriage too. Imagine painting them all red..... 🤔
Cool video. My father-in-law worked on the development of the after burners for the engines. First time they put the reheat on in static tests it blew the back out into the car park. Silly question, but are these all stored on base there? ( suspect do).
Yes all of the examples on vid are stored at RAF Cosford. Think they being or used to be used for training. I know the base recent got a typhoon for training. The one that used to be at Duxford
@@coningsbylive - thanks for your reply mate. My father-in-law got quite nostalgic seeing them on the video ( he is currently very unwell so it cheered him up).
@@nickbitten9910 oh, I am so happy your dad liked them. I have a video of a jaguar doing hydraulic testing, will find link. But so happy it cheered up your dad, makes the video very soecial
Hi Martin, Never saw those Jaguars last time i was at Cosford a couple of years ago, will have to go and have a look at those. Did you manage to get all the footage of the Air Show you wanted. Cheers Baz
Nice walk around video of the Jaguar expertly captured Many Thanks for sharing this wonderful video
Thanks m8
Những video hết sức đẹp mắt và bổ ích. Chúc tất cả có một bữa xem vui vẻ nhé 👍.
Triển lãm những chiếc máy bay xinh đẹp. Cũng như máy sản xuất đã lâu đời 🤗👋.

I used to love jags, especially when we went to Abingdon airshow were they did maintenance on them

Really sorry m8, we're replaying the airshow at 4pm
Can’t make up my mind whether to be sad or glad to see some of my favourite aircraft, reduced to “hanging around” the hangers!

Def enough for a sqn, great to see them all
*Beautiful Jaguars*
They honestly are, lovely jets. Miss them
Spent many days watching them when they were based at Lossiemouth. Fantastic aircraft
You also had buccaneer there didn't you?
@@coningsbylive yes and Shackletons

Still a great looking aircraft!.
Def are, live them

It was a lovely jet, something we could do with now tbh. Nice airframe and lovely afterburner lol
looks great perched on that muscular undercarriage doesn't it !
Would be good to see one of these back on the Display circuit, remember seeing the Raspberry Ripple at IAT and Boscombe Down.
Yeah, miss these flying, same with all old jets. Such a shame
@@coningsbylive Agreed.
Shame thought there was gonna be some flying to take me back to my RAF Coltishall days. Seen plenty on static Martin.
Lol, sadly none fly in UK
Thanks Martin, that's a lot of Jags. Are they all resident at Cosford?
We have one in a farmer's field very close to us at Sculthorpe.
All of the ones on video are at Cosford, there was more opp the airfield, prob at least 7 more. But look to be in worse condition tbh.

Yes I did, just editing and will do a liveshow hopefully tomorrow. Hope you guys like it
How was the airshow??
It was good, going to do a liveshow prob tomorrow afternoon for the show
How many jaguars do cosford have Martin ❤
tbh i lost count lol, they have more opposite side, there was 2 more in demo hanger. lots lol
Are any of these able to move under their own power?
Think they used to power some up, really not to sure now.
They have one doing hydraulic testing. But honestly not sure
Do they not even fly jag at airshows anymore 😢
Sadly no jaguars are flying in the UK
Hmmm. Airshow? The aircraft were all on the ground.
They’re not flying anymore, think cosford use them for training mechanics
Sadly these airframes are not allowed for flying. They are used at RAF Cosforf for training.
I'm currently editing flying footage
That is right Ted. Lives come before excitement or entertainment. I get you!
😊
