Iceman build - Day 38

Here is a video from day 38 of Rob's Iceman build. With the black paint fully cured, I wet sanded the surface with some 800 grit sandpaper, then cleaned the surface. Once the surface was dry, I sprayed out the 1st of 7 total coats of cherry pie.
After the 3rd coat of cherry pie, I applied a pinch of Rothragious Red metal flake, which was then covered with another coat of cherry pie. Between the 4th & 5th coats, I used a small amount of Acid Trip metal flake (which is a holographic flake ... very cool stuff!!) By the way, both flakes were .008 inches in size. That was topped off with 2 more coats of cherry pie, totaling 7 coats!!
This will be given between 2 and 7 days of cure time before I scrape the binding clean and prepare it for clearcoat.

Love the silver holographic. I used that on an iceman I built a couple years ago. Awesome!
