- Today we decided to check out Skagit Valley. After hearing about the area reopening we went, with Kim (offroadgirl) and Dean, we wanted to see all the repairs after the damage from the atmospheric floods of late 2021.

Pity about the gate, but still a great excuse to be out exploring. Looks like a lovely area.
It was an Impromptu decision late Saturday night but it definitely beats sitting around the house. Think we spent 2 ish hrs there but enjoyed the memories.
Yeah, those floods were crazy! It took them forever to fix a small section of the Malahat section of the highway on Vancouver Island so I would imaging there are still places in our province where there is still work to do. Surprisingly, a lot of the logging roads weathered the storm quite well.
Gates...something we're very used to on Southern Vancouver Island☹☹
