Same thing happened to me on the East side of Stave Lake. Several groups of guys shooting right close to the road.

Discovering that great little campsite is the beauty of back road exploring. However, the gun shooting, weekend warrior, irresponsible types can quickly ruin the experience. Hunting season can be difficult as well. The proliferation of mental health issues too. Very disappointing along with the trash. Unfortunately those areas of Harrison can be a crap shoot with an unfortunate history of that type of behaviour. I remember late 90’s 20 mile bay being a fricking gong show. Never really wanting to go back.

Never liked going to Stave or Weaver Lakes because of this. I always leave and feel better that I did.

Sorry that gunfire caused you to have to leave such a pretty spot. I think you made the right call, seemed dangerous. Hope you can go back another time.

Beautiful camping spot,, unfortunately some gun owners are not very responsible,, gives responsible gun owners like myself and our friends a bad rap😊

Jackery’s are definitely top of the line. Companies can be hard to deal with when it comes to refunds or replacements, so this is a good heads up with the process for Jackery. A go to meal I grew up with was Kraft Dinner with cut up hotdogs. Nothing fancy but sooo good, still make it today. Take care guys, another fun video.

As I learned from experience NEVER REPEAT NEVER PUT BOLTS, NUTS PARTS ON BARE GROUND THEY WILL DISAPEAR, CARRY A HD CANVAS SACK, AS U RMOVE PUT PARTS IN SACK they seem to stay in one place and much easier to find thanks ps good vid

For the shower the Walmart Ozark shelter shower for 40 bucks is amazing and tall . We use it all the time for our overland trips
