My brother got his PS5 in this Black Friday, i didn't buy one because I still feel it's too expensive. I also think there aren't that many new games, everything is remake, remastered whatever you want to call it.
Void terrarium was originally a PS4 release that came out later on the PS5, there's also a second game in the series but that was only on PS4 and switch.
Hello from germany!^^ Also Video game Collector! Always love when you post those hidden gem videos since i didnt know about some of those games!^^ Also a fan of collecting anime figures and visiting conventions! Keep it up!
Oxide was extremely frustrating. Great graphics and gameplay, but if you die, you completely start over and the clues are in different places. Wanted to love it but didn’t.
Only games i need are, captian tsubasa rise of new champions after watching blue lock season 2 with my daughter and god eater 3. I play these games with my kid.
I cant see PS5 games being valuable at this point in time. Sony is not Nintendo where games sky rocket in value after a few months. You can take a look at PS4 media and see very few games have gone up in value.
Sony is not Nintendo!? Dude, I don't know in what dreamy Kirby land you are living, but most PS2 horror titles are expensive with capital letters and PS3 same genre, RPGs, and Marvel games are rising in value. It is not the time yet for PS5, but it could happen within the next 3-5 years across the library. Switch games are about to plummet in price when the next system gets announced and that will be the time to build a collection.
@@luckyretrotwist I think you have your facts backwards brotha. You're living in Disneyworld if you think that PS games will ever be as valiable as Nintendo games. Also im not talking about PS2 or PS3. Look at the PS4 library and maybe 15-20 games are above $100 with North American releases. Do a comparison between Nintendo and Sony games and historically Nintendo games are far more valuable so before you talk your verbal diarrhea, I would research before speaking bro 🙂
@@luckyretrotwist niche horror games are expensive on every single platform since it's a popular genre. Taking your ps2 example, look at how much horror titles go on GameCube or wii, and tell me if it's really that much worse on ps2. Nintendo usually prints lower quantities of their games, and especially first party Nintendo games almost never go down in value, even in their respective generation. Then may dip temporarily with the release of a new console only to get more expensive overtime. You can observe this in the switch as well, how many launch games still sell for retail? And it's only going to become more expensive, because of backwards compatibility for the successor of the switch, many of these games are not going to drop in value I think. Maybe a temporary dip at best. Especially not first party Nintendo stuff. This is extra true for a console like GameCube that is popular, but didn't sell well. Meaning even lower print numbers. The games that generally get expensive on playstation are niche games with low print runs and a large following, like horror games or (J)RPGs. Time is also a factor, at the moment you can still get a majority of ps2 games for relatively cheap, its getting harder for the ps1, since good games are getting harder to find. If you want to get into GameCube collecting you're going to have to accept that you'll be paying retail price for a large portion of its library. Almost every Nintendo game in history holds its value, you can look up average prices. I don't know how you can say this is even comparable to playstation. Trying to build a decent library on a Nintendo console is going to cost you more than on other consoles. What you're saying about the switch applies more to the other consoles than Nintendo. If you have to start from scratch and have to build up a nice library of ps2 games vs GameCube, you bet it's going to be much more expensive filling out that gamecube collection. It's not even a question.
@@RawrItsJuul 100% and very well stated. Anything Nintendo produces becomes very valuable within a short period of time. The misconception that Switch games will go down in value because of the Switch 2, is inaccurate. I have over 150 switch games and just started pricing them out and wow some of my games are worth alot of money compared to my PS4 collection, and some are rhe same games. Not really into horror but the few horror games I have are worth more on Switch than they are on PS4 or PS5 for that matter. For collectabilty, I will take the switch version anyday of the week over the PS versions.
