I have had on and off pain in my arms FOR YEARS until i realized this was the issue. The exercise you showed with pushing down on your fingers with your other hand has made my arms more functional and pain-free in 5 days than at any other point in the last two years. Thanks man :)
So is it normal to be having pain on the wrist area if you have tennis elbow? Because Im worrying if it is another injury. Im diagnosed with tennis elbow and Im having slight pain on the wrist area into the tennis elbow area.
Good info on the types of stretches; I hadn't considered the one where you clasp your hands together and twist but that one will be worked into the routine. Did you ever make a follow up video for the trigger point massage ball therapy for this muscle group? I like to use a lacrosse ball and it would be interesting to see if you have some techniques which I have not considered.
@@OlivierGirard Thanks so much for making the video; I'll try a couple of the techniques in a moment. I've been an avid bodybuilder for almost 30 years so overuse injuries are nothing new to me and I have recovered from them with massage, therapeutic exercise, and stretching measures many times before but the diagrams help me to identify precisely which area to work on in order to relieve the issue with the wrist on the pinky side of the hand. Sometimes it can be hard to know which trigger point affects what exactly and the wrong area gets focused on. I'm also using a wrist widget for support when doing (light) training until I am fully recovered.
That's some awesome information! May I ask if strengthening these muscles would improve their ability to handle these strains? In other words- if the strain from overuse, what if we'd improve the strength of hands overall? Because strain happens when the muscle can't handle the loaf effectively anymore and is exhausted so to speak, but what if it over time became stronger?
I have a very VERY old video that explains my take on this: ruclips.net/video/g2hYpTZVrQU/видео.html. Although the content is good, my apologies for the quality: we all need to learn 😁

yep, that's called referred pain: pain from somewhere is felt somewhere else 🤔

Does physio work for this? Like strengthen exercises.
you know, physio does unfortunately not mean a lot: every therapist has his/her own education, sensitivity, experience, skills...
