The magnificent synths seriously need to come back into fashion ,simply amazing .
They've been back in fashion for a while now.
"SYNTHWAVE"
each synthesizer has its own character
Yeah, my synth had Sponge Bob.
Thanks doc. Can't get tired of 80's synths. I had a korgasm
korgasm lol
I'm Roland on the floor laughing at that pun.
This guy deserves a standing novation
@@gorillaau Yamahahaha
This thread is blessed xDxD
M1, DX7, D50 - there’s 3 of my favourite synths right there. Just throw in an OBX-A and a Prophet 5 and it would be synth Nirvana!
+ ENSONIQ TS^12 = 💥💥💥
80's synths! Just one note played on these instruments already gets me thrilled!
Артем Деев 4 of the best and most revolutionary synths of all time right there.
Agreed.
I was wondering if you Can you do this with only the Yamaha dx7? Am new to this
Sounds like Miami Vice, and many others.
80’ come back please!!!!
Better than todays stuff
music to drive through the city at night.
Even better if the streets are deserted.
Oooh, that sounds awesome.
Great synthesizers from the 80's, Roland D50, Roland Juno 60, Yamaha DX7 and Korg M1,
I have had a Roland Jupiter 6 that I sold (unfortunately) but I still have a Korg T1 (big brother of the M1) I have 2 Yamaha keyboards that have all the DX7 sounds, but I have nothing close to the D 50 Synth which is probably my favorite. That Juno 60 Arpp is so cool, I used my Jupiter like that too, but I had mine make stereo, so that the baseline ran random from left to right which was awesome. Thanks for doing this video guys, I love watching your stuff. Keep up the good work, Adriaan Laurijsen
If I was imprisoned between those classic synthesizers for the rest of my life I'd probably never try to escape my special world, ever.
ge
great perfomance.......... still miss the beatsection. a beat like blue monday. love it
Synth sounds take me straight back... I've got a DX7, DX27, DX100, a Mirage and a couple of Casio something or others. Love that sound!
This has the potential to be an absolutely killer electro track, 909 on the mix and I’d be raving away
This is so great to see you guys having fun!!!!
Increíble que ustedes poseen estos legendarios instrumentos, son los sintetizadores que mas admiro saludos doctor mix desde Colombia
Your efforts are our oxygen! I'd love to see more if this!
Aaaawwww! Thank you so much man for your comment! We are really glad you enjoy our videos! :-)
Agreed! They are all phenomenal synths that broke new ground when they were released. Personally, the D50 is my fave, despite no real piano patch.
Guys, this is magic! Real magic!
Now THIS was GREAT!! Pure nostalgia! Wish I was there jamming with you guys!
All great vintage synths.
Roland D-50 !!! & Juno ! Perfect !
DX7 was my first synth
The best, congrats, bravo, I am speechless
it would be so cool to do live performances like this....
Yes! You could check out the amazing Finnish synth artist Kebu who does similar performances solo (with some synths on sequencer while he plays other live). I'd definitely watch more of these guys as a duo as well!
Yes I agree with a lot of users - can you guys please do more of these “putting on the randomness”?? 😸
Wow these pianos really started it all
Sounds like Tangerine Dream! Awesome!
Beautiful music
Early 80s + early to mid + latter mid + late 80s = holy grail. You even introduced them in order & its very hard to love one more than the others though I lean more towards the Korg M1 which gave us the early 90s sound & led to the birth of the affordable Korg Triton which in my mind sortve marked the beginning of the end of the analog studio age as things like FL Studios & Pro Tools in your home studio slowly became a norm(& the Triton just lent a great hand in having higher quality samples to produce with as VSTs from back then tended to sound thin & super weak hence the sudden attraction to RUN BACK to analog era hardware which made the prices of all these things start to shoot back up).
I stayed with the Yamaha family of FM Synths back in the 1980's and 90's. I remember going into my local music store and trying them all out. I started with the DX7II and then bumped up to the SY77 and still have the SY99 synth. Now i am getting back into those sounds again software wise with Arturia DX7D and DEXED DX7 emulators. The DEXED is Free online for MAC and PC. Both of these actually play the actual DX7 patch banks which are free online to get. My main keyboard now is the Korg Triton Sampler which i have had for a while. Cool stuff.
Awesome guys, great collection of 80s synths.
Thank you Synth addict! Glad you like it!
Brought an INSTANT smile to my face!

YAMAHA TQ5.... 4op ....... Based on the venerable TX81z synth engine. Part of my classic arsenal... Fab Video!

Love this video!
Sounds like a 80s sci-fi movie.
Or those buddy cop movies
4 of my personal top 10 synths in one place. I'm so jealous. I'd love to have an M1 in that good of shape.
My T1 is for sale !! (it's the piano version of the M1)
I like them all.

We Love Synthesizers Musik !!

Thanks Doc and friend! 80s 80s 80s! My middle school - college days! Actually I prefer 1st half of 80s. BTW I dreamed of owning DX7, D-50, M1. Now I have SY77, SY99, and D-50. Unfortunately I don't have time or energy :(
Amaizing !
LIVE!!!!!
That DX7 looks like it's been around the block a few times, haha! Takes a licking and keeps on ticking!
Great vid! Big thanks from an DX7-IIFD owner ;)
I'm totally embarrassed to say that I didn't realize these were two different people 😳 I haven't watched that many videos from this channel, so I just assumed, "oh wow, Dr. Mix changed drastically at some point"
Thats it? We want more !! :D
Great 👍
Roland D50,
I have it at home from 1990.
Yeah guys ! 😎
Nice Job, not sounding too much 80s, I really like that (PS: Yamaha GS1 was the first, DX7 was the first affordable and programmable, I think I paid 3500 Deutsche Mark for it in 84. A Prophet 5 was at about 6000.- these days. A car was 10.000 :-) )
HiddenroomStudio Ooh, interesting. And what are you doing today?
Nothing wrong with sounding too much 80's!! Thats why I love the 80's sound soo much!! Just pure MAGICAL!!!!!
HiddenroomStudio There actually was music from the 80s that sounded like this.
Perfect!
Tangerine Mix!!!!🎹🎹🎹
Still hanging onto my Alpha Juno 2 :-)
No Jupiter 8 or SH-101?
Love the Juno 60 though. Its a beast for pads.
The Jupiter is my favourite. It was right up there in price but man it sounded amazing - especially compared to other synths at the time, imo. :)
I love that !
Synth Heaven
