Its how a Bugatti shoudl be - both power and style in equal measure. Finally they have it again.
That is BEAUTIFUL. They say it's narrower than Chiron but that front view looks WAY wider and it makes it more muscular and O.M.G than rear diffuser...!!!
The front is much shorter in height
it has way bigger smile than the chiron
It looks wider because the car is lower
They made the greenhouse lower and narrower, so the car has more shoulder. It looks nicer and is better in aerodynamics.
“Men are not so good at this.” 😂 Mate is wise beyond his years.
At what time stamp was this?

When you thought Elon Musk opened to the public as a genius engineer with charisma and good ideas.... this guy comes outta nowhere (Rimac allowing) and he glows, taking it to the next level.
Natural behaviour person, fluent speaker, charismatic, genius.... Bugatti just took the company to the next level.
I bet croatians are very proud of their guy.
Some are proud but some are sour since his father was in politics and managed to steal tens of millions of euros so that his son gets to play with cars.
I mean at least the kid does something positive with it and doesnt blow his father money stolen from taxpayers on hookers and cocaine.

Love how Mate is truly passionate and excited about his new product. You can’t fake that. It’s a beautiful piece.
Yep, and him talking about Cosworth and Koenigsegg in such a tone of admiration really drives his passion home
@@rt_zentrue, you never hear car companies acknowledge competitors let alone praise them, you can tell Mate loves cars in general and his passion shows in what he delivered
@@AbeYousef Yep, he wants to see progress, regardless of who achieves it
Love Mate, that man is living his dream right now. His passion just pours out of him when he talks.
When a car enthusiast is put in charge. Just wow. 1st Bugatti I have ever been impressed by. Bang on for going NA with the ICE, it will have some emotion when it screams. What a timeless interior, like a Pagani.
Mate is a hero of mine: he’s a true car guy irrespective of what propulsion method’s used. Hearing his explanation of the Tourbillon is almost as exciting as the car itself. WOW, I really need to win the lotto soon 🥵
Never been that big of a fan of either the Chiron or the Veyron, but this thing looks absolutely amazing.
Wow
Same, switching to a naturally aspirated engine is just bonkers and I love it.
I feel like we've gone back in time when I see Mate presenting a new product like this. Being someone that's started his own car company and now heading up one of the greatest brands in the world it shows through amount of passion and enthusiasm that he exudes. He is on a level that no one besides a car creator could be. VW Group nailed it when they brought him on board, in my humble opinion.
You can see he really understands every aspect of car design and engineering and and it's satisfying to watch somebody present a car with so much pride and joy and enthusiasm.
It's as if we're watching someone like Bugatti himself presenting the car himself, this car has got every part of him in it and I can only hope that based on his enthusiasm and his energy, that he's an absolute pleasure to work, because he really represents all departments with respect and pride. Its not scripted because he knows his shit. It's a joy to watch.
This is such a masterpiece. A true no-compromises car. Ferdinand Piëch would be so proud of how Mate Rimac took on his Bugatti reborn with the Veyron and brought it to a completely new level again.
In other news, Chiron owners are reported to be "quite sad".
The last part of your coment 😂
Gotta admit I was never a huge fan of Bugatti but this Mate is extremely pleasant as a brand representative, what a fantastic car
props to Mate for really incapsulating Bugatti's brand DnA. This car is spectacular, a true beauty and beast.
Mate is going be a legend in this industry when its all done.
Its incredible how the Tourbillon's design immediately makes the Chiron look outdated. Its such a leap forward.
For sure. Definitely working his way up the ladder to stand with titans like Horacio
@@LaSombraaI’m stunned that you say “titan” and go straight to Horacio completely bypassing Gordon Murray, Adrian Newey and Colin Chapman (sorry to the other titans I’ve not mentioned), this may be a controversial opinion but I see Horacio as more of a jewellery designer
Another hypercar with a magnificent Cosworth engine, they've had a good few years!
Pagani missed a trick by not using a Cosworth NA V12 for the Utopia. They should have an made agreement with Cosworth instead of AMG.
@@steven_taylor_ To end up just like everyone else? Pretty sad to think that both AM and "Bugatti" couldn't/didn't want to make their own engine (Murray didn't have the resources, so they are excused).
@@regulus6936 I'm not sure if you realize how long it takes to design an engine from the ground up. Unless you're a specialist like Cosworth, it can take a decade. Even then, it basically took them 4+ years. The easy thing would be to just stuff the W16 in there and add electric motors, or borrow a V12//V10 from Lambo, but they did it the hard way. NA V16... unparalleled.
@@regulus6936 Everyone else? If the engine has more emotional value nobody would remember if it's similar to someone else's engine. AM has their own V12 and Bugatti definitely could have made a new engine but Cosworth is the real deal right now for such high revving NA engines.
@@regulus6936 as he said in the video, Bugatti isnt focussed on 100% originality like Koenigsegg for example, they are using brembo brakes because they are the best and have gone to cosworth for an engine for the very same reason

i must say I‘ve really enjoyed listening to Mr Rimac, he seems like a very very intelligent and passionate person, taking his time to explain every last detail in great extent and you can just tell how proud he is of what’s been created it is awesome to see how well endowed he is at his young age
Mate I really have to congratulate you. This interview was not only about marketing a new entry, but a real interview between 2 car obsessed people. What a passion you have and really achieved such a difficult task like outdone a car lineage like the ones in Bugatti.
Horacio Pagani - “Oh crap, now Bugatti are making gorgeous interiors as well”.
lol why, they are legit just copying him at this point.
Chiron was great to but this is art
@@Kinskiii "Art" doesn't mean "better". They are a different take of the Chiron ones, which were a modernization of those on the original Veyron.
They've got nothing to fear, Pagani has its own unique style that works for them and only for them. I have seen some irl and they're just magnificient, videos and photos cannot hope to compare. I have also seen some pretty good imitations, let's say, but they didn't hold up at all.
They're at a level where they can get beaten only of theylose Horacio and stop pushing the envelope.
More like: "Finally, someone who understands my taste for car interior..."
Rimac is a car guy through and through. He's produced something great here ... just beautiful!!
In a world were even hyper cars have become a commodity, the Bugatti Tourbillon recreates the exclusive spirit of supercars from the 60s and 70s. The attention to each and every detail is absolutely mind boggling. When we are good at what we do we succeed, however in order to shine we need passion, and Mr. Rimac represents the embodiment of passion.
That gauge cluster is a work of pure mechanical art.

Total masterpiece 👌🏻
Really have become a fan of Mate & whole bugatti team.
3 things that catched my very attention :
1. The mechanical watch like meter console
2. The way the infotainment screen comes out if needed
3. The way the wiper is positioned at the center of the windcreen to match the whole bodyline of the car
Just phenomenal 👌🏻 What an art 💯
Just the thought of having a 16 cylinder that can rev like a Honda and sound way better than a ferrari is truly amazing and the fact that it is naturally aspirated, makes it more exciting for the future of that engine and the brand cause what if they slap 2 turbos on it I wonder how much powerful it would be. Great respect to Mate Rimac for being such gentleman and not choosing to go full electric with the brand that has always been known to be one of a kind yet elegant on their own rights.
I can only agree with everyone, Mate is just the best. He is only interested in amazing products, he doesn't want to put others down and he truly truly loves the things he makes. Imagine what the world looked like if we replaced every greedy MBA of every tech company, every game studio, every service provider with a Mate. Just imagine!
Rimac has a true respect for Bugatti. He’s intelligent, he can use the well known name and image, as a platform to grow the company and his company’s image. He will push his company’s development renown to a new level. You can tell he likes Bugatti and wanted to respect the history and name, he understands the importance. I’m glad he took possession of the company. Ensuring its future.
They are all like a big Family!Everybody works for different brands!Rimac helps Porsche for example!
What a time to be alive
An 8300cc V16 that makes 1000ps and revs to 9000rpm, and the interior is gorgeous, the steering wheel is awesome, the analog gouges are perfect, what a Masterpiece
Rimac+Bugatti+Cosworth+Czinger
= one amazing thing
Congratulations Rimac/Bugatti.
Love this guy, much respect to him. Love to see a real engineer instead of a fake polished salesman
I recently watched MKBHD's interview with Tim Cook, and then soon after Louis Rossman's video calling out all of the nonsense.
Then I come to another video between an influencer and a CEO, except this time questions are asked, and questions are answered. The CEO's enthusiasm comes through the screen to the point where influencer whose job it is to talk has to cut him off sometimes. He has the guts to call one of the best looking design choices I've seen in years a, "party trick," and constantly names specific people or groups of people where credit is due.
Hats off to you, Mate Rimac. You are the CEO I hope to one day be.
P.S. Oh yeah, the car is amazing. Love both ICE and electric, and this car has the best of both, to no-one's surprise.
It's amazing to see how Rimac has changed the way we normally see hypercars. Thank God is looking promising. Well done Bugatti👊💨🏁
I was worried Mate would just put a Bugatti skin on the rimac. This is impressive! Gained a lot of respect for him.
It’s such a pleasure listening to Mate speak about his creation. His enthusiasm and passion really comes through.
Thank you.... Thank you for the NA V16, Thank you for keeping the weight so low, thank you for adding in those beautiful titanium and aluminium parts and most importantly thank you for getting rid of the blasted infotainment screens. Hopefully more companies see this and switch back to buttons and dials.
@@AzathothsAlarmClock it's a large engine,1000hp V16 and a relatively large hybrid system with decent range ( much larger than the SF90 296 Artura systems) so yes the weight is low relative to all the systems it's carrying.... Also

The name given to this hypercar, Tourbillon, comes from mechanical watches. I'm blown away by the engineering of this new Bugatti Hypercar 🎉
I don’t understand anything but nodding my head and smiling at the same time.😂.
My man's just living every petrol head's dream: buying Bugatti and chatting up Cosworth to make a bloody V16 (!!!) in order to produce this absolute masterpiece. Well done, Mate, well done! I just LOVE his enthusiasm and I just believe him being involved in every little step of the whole process. Could listen to him talk about it all damn day!
From the sounds of it the previous administration would have done Bugatti a huge disservice. Mate has pushed them in an incredible direction. I have huge respect for the guy. He has achieved amazing things!
Very humble of Mate, he always recognises the efforts of his colleagues which i am sure have put a lot of efforts into delivering the perfectly made Tourbillon.
He really added the Croatian beauty, Bugatti finally has the looks and sound to show for it
The CEO drawing inspiration from luxury timepieces and turning to his customers for feedback is brilliant. User and market research is so important!
This is already my car of the decade. Just incredible stuff. The way Mate talks about this makes me know he was absolutely the right man for the job.
,,Like a citroen c4 picasso"" THAT LINE KILLED ME
The gauge cluster is the best one I’ve ever seen in a car, the way the steering wheel moves, the 8.3 n/an engine with an electric power train is awesome!! That, is class if I’ve ever seen it
Interesting: Mate Rimac is a pioneer in high-speed electric sports cars. He is now the director of Bugatti, a brand that grew up with huge gasoline engines.
I like the fact that Matt is a true engineer and less a snake oil salesman. He understands the heritage of Bugatti yet cleverly is instituting the electrified tech while keeping the engine heritage. It's inevitable that Electric cars will dominate but that is not today yet this car is built for the next 10 years and it will function just fine.
One thing I like about Mate Rimac is that he's a car guy and not an electric everything obsessed. He understands the traits and heritage of Bugatti, glad to see they still working on Combustion Engines, pushing forward with this V16.
Mate and his team did just an amazing job, this is Bugatti as it should be - art, craftmanship, and mechanical engineering at its highest. Just awesome what they did with Tourbillon
He was handed the keys to a legendary brand and I think he is doing great. Can't wait to hear it run.
Mate is an absolute hero for making something this pure. Rimac and Koenigsegg have more passion combined than any other auto maker.
I really like this kind of video style, just the ceo talking about the car. He sounds genuinely passionate about this and not like just some guy who's out there just to make money
Using the windshield wiper as a continuation of the classic Bugatti rivetted spine is such an inspired idea. Genius.

I love that Bugatti combines timeless beauty with really radical tech. Just thinking that the same team could possibly create some really hardcore machines for regular people and maybe even the planet as a whole. Maybe I'm gushing... but I think this team has something special going on internally.
Honestly, with all the Chiron reskins we've seen, this car literally just looks like another one of those. It looks pretty much like a Mistral.
