In my opinion this is a starter fragrance, teenager or a casual use only type of scent. It may be time to upgrade your scent if you've been wearing this one for years.

Personally i consider such fragrances not as much of an waste of money, but rather of shelf space.

👍👍👍I haven't smell a polo fragrances since years. The last time I think it was the original (green).
I got a 30ml for $20cdn and it was worth it. I’m definitely not a teen. It’s pretty much the most inoffensive fragrance possible and good if you just want something really simple, but there’s no longevity.
I haven't smelled it, but based on your review it's a safe gourmand fragrance good for someone who is getting into fragrances, to your mature nose of course it's synthetic, but for the younger guys or someone new getting into fragrances they might not detect the synthetic notes in this fragrance, man you made explore complex fragrances back in the 2000s and early 2010s you can't expect someone new in the game to say man I'm getting a HDP ambrarem lol, btw Marc i picked up Costume National Soul Parfum, and i know your nose by now brother, you should definitely check that one out, trust me, and I can't wait for the winter to enjoy it, as for now the weather is hot and humid I'm enjoying Goutal ninfeo mio 😉
Wasn’t a fan of the original Polo Red, but love the Intense and Extreme versions, which I believe have both been discontinued.
I still have about 1/4 of a bottle from when it came out. I loved this stuff. Never smelled the flankers.
Polo Red was cool about a decade ago. I wouldn't buy it again.
- My favorite was Green Pony 6 - 7 yrs ago. I thought it smelled considerably better than Red!

Im a collector 60 plus bots at one time i bought my adult son a Polo Red. This year for his birthday he told me no cologne i have all the bots youve sent me i lke them but will never finish. He has 3 maybe 4 bottles over the last 20 years.
Got red red rush and red extreme together in a travel set, I like wearing it at home, maybe 3-4 times a year, pleasant scent that lasts 1-1.5hrs on me then skinscent. I don’t get why they keep pushing it tbh.
Get Infrared or Red Tobacco if you want something red.
I prefer the Polo Blue line anyway. Even Double Black is better than this but that lasts for 1-2 hrs too..

Shocking that they haven't made an elixir of it yet. But I guess the parfum only just came out so it's probably on the way. I'm a fan of the Extreme but I rarely wear it. Smells like Christmas fruitcake but layers well with a chocolate or vanilla. 😆
Of the Polo Reds I most liked "Extreme" as it was less sweet than the OG - bought a bottle while I was on simultaneous coffee bean AND ebony kicks so it was a great fit at the time, but I have not worn it a very long time (took it out of my seasonal rotation a couple of years ago) and will definitely find it another home. It was also a very synthetic and beginner-friendly.
Like the Intense & Extreme versions better, above average designers imo
my favorite polo is still the OG Polo Blue EDT. its very unique and has Identity ,youbwould know it when you smell it. as for the Red , i cant make out what ut is and theres o way i can recognize it if i smelt it on someone. it blends it too much
I like Polo Black over the rest of the Polo's, unfortunately only has a flanker. This Polo Red, at least the batch I have, it's very soft, synthetic and it doesn't worth to buy a full bottle. Tomorrow Argentina Canadá, Copa America!
i think that ralph lauren knew their cash cow (original polo) was both slowly falling out of favor and being forced into terrible reformulation, and they had to do something. started with blue and eventually got here with red. not a fan at all, although *maybe* it was kind of unique when it came out? sweet was never my style

I love the scent but performance was pretty non-existent. The parfum is beastly though. Deviates a bit with the absinthe note
PS i do not have Polo Red and nnever tried it.
This entire line is crap except for the original Polo Blue
Overpriced below average sweet fresh fragrance. To me, the best from Ralph lauren are purple label, polo blue edt and edp gold edition & polo green OG. Its just an opinion, SALES determine what a company should produces... AMBROXAN INVASION😢
Forget about Polo Red, why discontinuing good oldschool Polo Green?!
