I was.....And it was!!!!!! Born in 1965!
I'm originally from England and was a teenager in the 70's. I had long hair (feathered as it was called) and wore platform shoes, Blue with a yellow thunder bolt, God I loved those shoes!!
I noticed a lot of R.I.P. for Brian Connolly but let's not forget the great drumming of Mick Tucker as well... R.I.P. Mick
And let's not forget that Steve is still rocking in the US, & subs to his channel The Sweet [Band].
liveclassictunes they all contributed and formed a fantastic band 😎
Absolutely he was a fantastic drummer.....
Loved the way he twirled his sticks.
One of the best.
Gone but never forgotten Rest in peace Brian , Mick and Steve. Your Music will live on forever.

Era una época prolífica de grandes canciones con hermosa letra y un ritmo increíble, la felicidad se podía respirar. Hoy es distinto, solo hay decadencia en todos los sentidos.

Sweet song because Love is like Oxygen! I've said it before and I will say it again "If you got to grow up anywhere in the 50's through the 80's with all the classic movies & music YOU were blessed!"
Thank you
After a massive collection of pirate ship music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, some 90's, slowed down in 2000, some good in 2010, not much to add now In 2020, just going back to fill in what I missed to the collection.
@@twosborn I'll bet there are thousands of songs that we still have not heard on albums from the 50 through the 80's, that were not played on the radio.

God, his voice....so melty and versatile. He could go from gritty falsetto to sweet, lovely romantic lilting loveliness in no time. So lovely!
Crystal Hornbeck They played in Buffalo, NY in 70s. It was only 3000 seat venue. They said the coolest thing ( HELLO BUFFALO ). Buffalo had a great music scene in 70s 10 years of concerts 4 every summer. Rolling Stones liked us played here 6 times. Got to see lots of big bands, Aerosmith, Bob Seger, Alice Cooper, Led Zeppelin, Doobie Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Reo Speedwagon, The Who, The Clash, Neil Young, Rush, they even got Lynyrd Skynrd & Allman Brothers. Country Singer Alan Jackson. Now the bad news about Buffalo, we get 10-12 feet of snow every winter from Lake Erie. 1 thing cool about Buffalo we have a big IRISH Population. We are a crazy City Bars are open till 4am. Buffalo is 1 unlucky City all the snow & losing 4 Superbowls. Like I said all IRISH People ST. PATRICKS PARADE IS A NIGHTMARE. I guess it is true most IRISH People are Drunks. I will admit us IRISH are Different born with Red Hair & Freckles. Its also bad most IRISH Songs are about Drinking. Hey us IRISH have our IRISH DANCING. Rumor lots of women like IRISH Men. Its a good thing Freckles dissapear from our face but not our bodyies. IRISH Familys are known for having lots of kids. My Family had 8 kids. Did you know any last name with the letter O is IRISH. Freckles in IRELAND are called ( ANGEL KISSES ). I dont why they call it Red Hair when its the Color Orange. You need to carefull of us IRISH when we die we come back as Vampires. REDHEAD IRISH GIRLS ARE EXTRA FIESTY IN THE BEDROOM. IRISH GIRLS ARE GREAT DRINKING BUDDY FOR US GUYS. YOU DONT SCARE ME I WAS RAISED BY AN IRISH MOTHER. EVERYBODY LOVES AN IRISH GIRL REDHEAD OR NOT. Sorry about IRISH Stuff IM A PROUD IRISH AMERICAN
A beautiful description ♥️ love their songs. Lost Brian and the other guys far too soon. Their music will live on forever ❤️
@@jimogrady1131 I'm half Irish and it's where I get my own potent musical ability(have another channel with my music) and I do not drink .I simply grew out of it .I stopped the mad partying about age 20 or so ,never drank booze for about 5 years then the occasional beer. Last time I was drunk at a Wedding in England in 2009 cos I think my drink was spiked ,not been drunk since LOL.
Melty? You just invented a very cool word!
They really were amazing with their four part harmonies
They should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame cuz influence so many bands
