November 5th went from being one of the most fun had in a while to heartbreaking and scary. We were all there just to have fun. The idea that struck that night is something no one could have imagined :(.
This video documentation of Travis Scott's Astroworld performance is not in anyway for monetary or entertainment purposes. I made this video to show documentation of how these kind of events can look from first person viewers perspective in these kind of environments.
We Know this situation is very sensitive for many and is no way shape or form intended to glorify the behavior in these events that caused pain for many. This is only to bring awareness to a staple in the American Pop Culture.

I have been performing on the stage not this big of a stage before and to be honest it’s almost impossible to see through the crowd , if people scream, you take it as a crazy concert scream and you even have to try to unhear the scream to focus on the lyrics and the beats and the performance.. if the whole crowd are still jumping you don’t assume the severity that people are dead, I’m terribly sorry for the victims I cannot imagine how terrified it was. There’s always ambulances at these kind of festivals but still I also used to assume it was people Passing out or OD…. The stage lay out just went really wrong. I always stay in the back near the exit cos I’m a girl and I’m short… you really have to come prepared with lots of festival tips if you decided to go to these thing. And kids should be restricted from festivals.

Foremost my prayers are with ALL!!
NOW: This is by far the best footage captured, released, and explained from both sides of this festival and that night. This VIDEO needs to be used in court, all social media platforms, news etc.
This is not to sway you in any direction but it reflects a GOOD a$$ festival taking place and a boat load of attendants having a fu*king good time. Fact if the matter people went to see a show and have a good a$$ time. Looks like to me that is what was happening and from the footage, it was so many people hyped, jumping, flipping and doing what they came to do SEE A SHOW & HAVE A GOOD TIME.
With so much movement all looking like fun… HOW COULD TRAVIS OR DRAKE (be that ANY performers) be to blame for the tragicness??? It appears to be certain areas that experienced the mishap!! NOT ALL as the media is negatively showing. My heart goes out to ALL INVOLVED, but I do not agree with law suits being filed because once seeing the crowd of people and you chose to stay… at this point you take RISK of the possibility and liability of what could and did take place.
I am sure we are all traumatized to some sort, but right is right and wrong is wrong!!
What took place was reported AFTER the show ENDING.
Some people left the concert still hyped and some was hyped looking at people live - Ready to attend on Saturday still not knowing what had just took place or that Saturday festival was canceled.
Thanks for this video and explanation. Hope many see it and pass it around.

Wow.. am I watching a video of Astroworld rn? I know this is the same fest, but from this perspective, it feels like a completely different show when compared with the videos showcasing the crowd crush I saw in many videos. It seems people at that part of the show were having the time of their lives while a few yards away, others were struggling for their lives. I can't imagine how devastating it must've been. As shown in the video, crowds like this are extremely dangerous, yet people willingly pay to see their favorite "idols" perform. Crowd crushes always happen and have happened in other past events, festivals, and concerts. Since a crush happened again, it seems no real change has taken place to prevent this tragedy. Everything happens for a reason, and this was a wakeup call for humanity to see that much more serious, deadly tragedies will continue to occur if crowd management and control techniques are not improved. New and better techniques needs to be formed to solve this problem much more effectively and efficiently. I think people need to be more observant and be always aware of their surroundings and other people. Media and school needs to educate people about crowd dynamics and provide them tips on how to survive a crowd crush. I think these idols need to get training on CPR and crowd control & management just in case so that they are prepared for these things. I also think not every person like Travis Scott, who has a criminal record, should not be allowed to perform. Instead, only people with a clean history should be allowed to do a concert. People should sign a form acknowledging that they are aware of the risks before going to an event like this. More strict regulations should be put in place such as age limit and no drugs & alcohol. People who break those rules should be held accountable and be given a consequence such as fine accordingly. The security guards, the performer, and the organizers should be held even more accountable for their actions. Safety briefings should be given by each idol to the audience at the beginning. Better coordination and communication between performers and organizers needs to happen. More value and importance should be given to safety as their top priority. Everyone must take simple actions like the ones I mentioned. It will go a long way in making crowds and any event be enjoyable and safe. A systemic change must happen if everyone wants to feel more secure and comfortable in a safe environment so that more horrendous incidents don't happen.

42 minutes into his show before drake came onto stage; it was declared a mass casualty event and travis still brought out drake and still performed for another 20/30 minutes. then again you have to understand this man likes to make his fans riot and cause violence lol; every concert of his is like that. think about it, he’s been arrested before for it; maybe that’s why he made his own concert so he can getaway with this shit and not get in trouble for his fans acting crazy and causing a mess and also getting mf hurt lmao. coming from someone who went to his show this year and one time before in houston. I was gonna buy passes back in late May but they were sold out once I found out on the festivals page. I was also planning on buying plane tickets from Newark (mind yall I dont live there I live an hour away from Newark Airport) to Houston, maybe stay at a family's place in Houston. I was so mad but looking back im glad I dodged a bullet . RIP to those who died out there, justice shall be served for the victims families 😢 💔 🕊 🙏

It's shameful how many people here are defending Travis and Drake. They have done hundreds of shows and never seen a crowd like this. He stopped the show several times but never longer than 90secs. He invited kids by having toys in happy meals, Reese cereal, fortnight icons and made this an ALL AGES FESTIVAL. This wasn't for just young adults this was meant for kids and they had no idea people would literally trample them for a view of Travis. Even though you had fun he holds so much direct blame for this it's insane. He will be ruined.

There’s a video (I think it’s the Apple stream) on RUclips. It shows the entire thing from start to finish. You can’t really hear the music, more of his voice tbh, but in the video you can hear people screaming for help near the cameraman. Some of the screams sound like they could be just normal concert rage screams but they sound bloodcurdling to me so idk, but there definitely was cries for help, the music likely drowned them out tho.

at the 5:12 mark you clearly see T take notice of someone in distress yet the media doesn't show that!
12:30 DrAKKKKEEEEE the biggest artist on earth makes mention of how he has never seen something like this of this magnitude before and is thankful T brought him along the biggest fest not you have to sincerely ask yourself this whole ordeal don't seem strange to you police not notifying T of the tragedies going on in the crowd just standing around enjoying the show.... people allegedly getting stuck with drugs in the crowd.... and poor security who quit and gone on record to say how poorly they were trained for this event! This is Travis show he bears responisbility but he also was set up for reasons that are known if yall would just think and look thorugh the BS narrative this white news agency have got to push.. don't be fooled!
R.I.P to all 9-10 victims may their souls rest in peace!

For sure . Accountability has to be taken for something crazy like this. But the point of this video we wanted to show the perspective how most people experienced this event and how this kind of behavior has been glamorized and ignored and is only now being look down upon because of tragedy . Safety measures and awareness of this kind of environment at shows should’ve been something these media outlets made prominent . The outcome may have been different .
Most people who attend these kind of events are already aware of what they’re entering in prior but no one ever think it’ll end how astroworld did :(. This is something that will change the outlook on live performing in America and most places in the world. It’s just unfortunate tragedy had to be what changed it . Honestly , if we look at history , maybe action still may not be taken :( which is the worst part. So what happens next?
