    There were some “success” stories amidst the tragedy that happened on Saturday. One resident from a small Israeli Town (a kibbutz) alerted everyone in the town and got their local armed citizen quick reaction force ready (Kitah Konnenut in Hebrew - “Ready Team”). The team was ready at the perimeter and smoked 25 Hamas Terrorists. No one was harmed in the town.

    I'm older and small. I went to a small political event years ago that was held in large ballroom, I was near the front. When success was announced, everyone charged to the front to congratulate.
    The lesson that I learned was simply to stay away from all groups of gathered people. These were happy, mostly professional people but I was still shoved, pushed, "carried" by the group. Luckily, I did remain standing. I will never knowingly put myself into that kind of situation again and, if it grows around me, I'm out of there.

    For those looking for a relatively cheap ballistic panel:
    You can buy a 4 x 8 sheet of fiberglass that is about a half inch thick and will stop
    9 mm. 4 x 8 sheet can be split up amongst a number of people. Double it to 1 inch and it will stop 5.56 mm three layers will stop 308 caliber. Spray with Rhino bed liner.

Then the pandemic hit and now over. I now see people still wearing masks everywhere. At that time when thinking about it I also thought you’ll never see crowds of people throwing rocks and bricks at the police/military over here like in middle eastern countries or really terrorist type bombings to the point we just assume it will happen anytime anywhere like over there and it become the expected norm. Then 2020 came around and I watched crowds of people throwing rocks/bricks bottles of piss etc. at police. Now with 100 of thousands of unvetted undocumented people being flown in and walking in from all over the world mostly all military aged men I guess the last thought I had as mentioned above will be next. 1-Stay away from “target rich environments.” 2-keep your gas tank at least half full. 3-keep a month (at least) of critical medicines like blood pressure meds, etc. A lot are made overseas, and if the country that makes your medicine breaks down, you’re in trouble. 4-if you’re in a restaurant and something starts, remember, they don’t take the trash out the front door-there’s a door in the back. 5-learn about how people behave in disasters, and learn from the survivors. 6- Your gun won’t help if it’s in your bedroom and you’re in the kitchen. Whatever room you’re in needs a weapon, even if it’s just one on your hip. 7-Where you’re comfortable is where you’re in the most danger - the grocery store, your church, the post office. Think what you’d do if something started, look for doors, look for ways out before you hear “fire crackers.” Be safe, be prepared, be watchful.

    For the cars, my one friend said that if it walks, crawls, flies, or slithers and it jumps in front of my car, then it must want to be roadkill, also, if you're stuck in a line of traffic and you have to escape, don't be afraid to use force to move the surrounding vehicle enough for you to escape, obviously don't use too much force that you cause your vehicle to be immobilized, but in the US where everyone seems to love trucks and SUVs, it's much easier to use slow, steady force to push a vehicle out of your way because you have more torque and more horsepower and more weight behind you

    • @coolsnake1134
      @coolsnake1134 Год назад +2

      And your vehicle is a weapon and is just as deadly to a pedestrian as the rounds fired out of an AK-47, after all, even though you don't have the speed of a rifle cartridge you make up for that by weighing 3,000 lb or even more

    • @coolsnake1134
      @coolsnake1134 Год назад +2

      Also read your vehicles owner's manual and learn how to turn off the driver assistance and collision avoidance features that most new cars come with because most new cars come with some form of collision avoidance or emergency braking or Lane keep assist that would prevent you from using your vehicle as a weapon or using it to push another vehicle out of your way.
