Awesome tutorial. For those who may be wondering: MJ often hops before the spin to actually bring his spinning foot closer to being underneath him to maintain his center of gravity. Sly uses his right foot here in this tutorial. Notice how his upper body mass is closer to being over his foot than before. If you do not do this and try to go straight into a spin when your foot is too far out, you'd have to move your body over your foot, which adds momentum going in that direction. When you attempt to spin, you'll end up falling over because of that momentum (either that, or you'll strain your body trying to maintain balance). So do a hop to bring that foot closer to being underneath you before crossing over your other foot for the spinning power.
You are so good at doing the multiple spins in loafers and carpet I can’t do that. I can only spin real well by socks and carpet or mostly socks and slippery floors
This is the best example of a difficult dance step (MJ SPIN) made extremely easy
I've been advocating for a longer spin tutorial for such a long time. Thank you for gracing us with your gifts Sly

Spot-on analysis, but I'm pretty sure the video is mirrored(makes it easier to imitate).
