I wish there would be a film about a woman happy to live her single life. With family, friends by herself. As a wife and a mom of two, having a clean and tidy home, eat only what i like, have an everything shower or rest whenever I want... that sounds like a Christmas miracle one can only see in a movie.
What an absolutely wonderful day you had. My kind of day and night for sure. Girlll…… I LOVED A Biltmore Christmas, too! I love Bethany Joy Lenz…she’s a wonderful actress. Every now and then, Hallmark puts out a movie that just absolutely shocks me in the best possible way. (My other favorite is Christmas Waltz with Lacy Chabert and Will Kemp). There’s just something about it and I love it. I am excited to watch The Holiday tomorrow night. I like to be super cozy and relaxed when I watch it. Thanks for your treasure of a channel…and for Vlogmas. Love it all. 🏰✨✨
There are things I miss about being single at Christmas ( girly nights doing face care and watching silly girl movies is one of them) but there are also some things that it's nice to do as a couple. Both states of being have their pros and cons. There is no one way we should be living our lives.
I think you're totally right that both have pros and cons. Life is never perfect, all we can do is live the life we have right now and enjoy it as much as we can. :) Thanks for watching!
🏰 Thank you for the Christmas movie recommendations! I know what I’m doing tonight! I am also in my single season right now and am learning to love the life I have.
I'm just so tired of beating myself up about it, especially because I'm noticing I'm actually pretty happy being on my own right now. There's so much going on in my life that I just don't think I'm in the mental place to be in a relationship right now anyway. I hope you enjoy the Christmas movies! They were both so good. :)
Andrea! Biltmore Christmas 🎄 was amazing! Christmas Island was too 👀 😂. As always thank you for sharing and being vulnerable about being single, especially during the Christmas season. I understand you on so many levels… it’s so real and encouraging. Gratitude has been how I’ve positioned myself in life as a 39 year old single woman. Thoroughly enjoying this life I have! Also, I’ve watched your videos from yearrrssss ago 😂 and you’ve grown so much! The confidence I see now honestly wasn’t there 5,6 years or more ago. Keep going and being you, it’s truly inspiring!
I'm so glad you enjoyed both movies too! I was so pleasantly surprised. And omg, thank you so much. My channel and I have come a looooong way since I first started. I still get self-conscious sometimes but I definitely feel more comfortable being myself on here, largely thanks to lovely people like you who accept me as I am. :)
I'm definitely watching "A Biltmore Christmas" tonight, thank you for recommending! These movies are a great escape for me. The holidays are hard when you feel alone. Being around family is helpful too. The other night, I was at my son's house. I made dinner over there. It was lovely having a fire in the fireplace, the Christmas tree glowing with its beautiful lights, lots of good conversation and good laughs, both my sons have a great sense of humor. It was a tough week. I had a four hour medical test at the hospital, and your book , "The Inn of Hopes and Dreams" kept me company, a very enjoyable read. This will definitely be a 5 star rating from me!
I hope you enjoy A Biltmore Christmas! It was so charming. I'm so sorry you had a difficult week. I hope the test gives you some helpful answers. I'm so glad my book could keep you company and that you enjoyed it. :) Thank you so much!
I inow a woman in her 40s who was fed up with being single and so she joined an online date site and found someone and is very happy. Sometimes you get lucky. However the longer you remain single the harder it is to adapt to being with someone because you get so set in your ways
🏰 Andrea, I felt so seen when you started talking about how we are conditioned to believe we are missing something if we don’t meet our “prince” by a certain age. I came to the same conclusion about enjoying my single life -whether it changes or not-after watching the first season of The Golden Bachelorette. I realized that finding my person may not look the same as everyone else and I will be happy if I find him next year or if I find him when I’m in my 60s. I can even say-with confidence-that if I don’t find someone, I want my life to be well lived because it is mine and only mine. Thank you for your vulnerability and honesty. I hope you have a fantastic holiday. 😁🏰📕🎊🍾🎉
I'm honestly happier now being single than I ever was in my last relationship. I might not be single forever, but I'm enjoying being single right now. :) I'm on my own journey and it just looks different like all the movies and fairytales. :)
💖Great advice as always. I take myself out on dates on rare occasions. I should do it more as well. Maybe make it a monthly thing. You only get one life, so you should try your best to enjoy it. I get lonely a lot I admit, probably why I started commenting on people's RUclips videos lol. I want this upcoming year to be about happiness though. Finding the right person is hard. As long as you don't think you're settling, then it's good. I've been single most my life. I've had some bad relationships, and honestly only one good relationship. I love someone right now, but they don't love me back I'm pretty sure. So that's painful to admit lol. I'm fine with being mostly single right now. As I mentioned previously I have a situationship. I'd love it to turn into a relationship but I think timing wise it's not great. He's older and doesn't want to have a family. I wish I met him when he was younger. But alas. Single during the holidays is hard, if you're like me you have a lot of love to give and you want to pour it into someone. I guess pouring it into yourself can be just as good as pouring it into someone else. I try to pour it into family and friends. Some self love this time of year is probably really important. Sorry for the long comment lol. I haven't seen a Biltmore Christmas movie. I'll check it out. 😃
I love taking a bath, but my bathtub is tiny and uncomfortable. So I always take a shower. Baths are a luxury for me. I think for a lot of people showers are faster and easier. :)

We definitely need more media representation of single women living full lives on her own with family and friends outside of a romantic relationship.

❄️ It's A Wonderful Life is my favorite. 🎁
Such a classic!
Cozy nights with cozy movies are just the best sometimes.
I need more of them! It was such a lovely evening. :)
I wrote down all the Christmas movies recommendations! I love them all :D thanks

I'm definitely getting set in my ways. But for the right person I'd be willing to adapt.
Bad idea unlocked: I need to learn toxic positive pickup lines. Good idea unlocked: the greatest gift of Christmas is gratitude
The greatest gift of Christmas is definitely gratitude.

Why do people always talk about having a shower because I don't like showers I prefer to have a Bath
Because that is what they prefer?
I love taking a bath, but my bathtub is tiny and uncomfortable. So I always take a shower. Baths are a luxury for me. I think for a lot of people showers are faster and easier. :)
