the problem with top media is while they train talented af groups, after teen top they lowkey gave up on developing unique concepts for their groups. like this is a solid song but it could have been sung by any group and i only know this is an up10tion song cos i recognise the voice of the boys. the thing is if a group doesn't get a song that brings something unique to the kpop scene (+ they are not from the big 3 labels), it's just hard to chart well these days in kpop. the mv is well filmed but is relatively generic in its content. i like the boys and i am just annoyed top media isn't putting in more effort for them :(
I totally agree! I've been following Up10tion practically since debut and I love them, I do, they're really talented- they have the vocals and the choreos down. But most of their songs are generic, if they had better lyrics they would be even more amazing. I'm sad that they're not being pushed to the heights I know they could reach.
