I love the message within the lyrics of Onew's "Winner." Finally!!! We need more positive messages in the world today. People need to know that no matter how bad things might seem at the moment, if they fight through it and don't let other people and outside forces take control, they too can be the winner in the end and can ultimately triumph over all those negative forces and people who are only looking to make themselves feel better by pushing you down. And Onew's powerful vocals are a perfect match for the message and vibe of the song as well. I couldn't imagine a better artist to sing a song like this than our eternal sunshine Lee JinKi. He perfectly understands what it's like to go through hard times and be able to find your way out on the other side and continue to be the winner of your life. Which makes this song feel that much more genuine and like he is speaking his own truth, not just singing a good song. I know it's still early, but I think "Winner" may become one of my favorites of 2025.

This song couldn’t come at a better timing. Personally, it’s been quite a stressful few months of nonstop overthinking and feeling anxious over the littlest thing in life, with overwhelming feeling of self doubt which results in occasional nightmares. But this song came and I feel like I can overcome this, maybe not in an instant but it’s a good way to remind myself that life is bigger than just a few obstacles I am facing right now. I really want to thank Onew for this song, this album even. Not only that it is musically beautiful and suited my personal taste, they are all telling me messages and stories I needed to hear. Reminds me of the time I fought so hard to get out of depression and anxiety during 2016-2021. I can understand how Onew feels as I'm in my 13 years of being a Shawol. This song to choose as the title song was truly brave, because it's very personal by lyrics and an more difficult topic as usual in the industry of Kpop. Its not a typical party-banger. In contrary it's in whole a very private album and therefore different again in comparison to the previous "flow".
