keep an eye on the new ESC I had issues with similar ESC also not to forget the motor which the magnet debonded from the motor shaft, love the W201 bodyshell!

Hey getting one of these cars tomorrow and yours is AWESOME! What motor and ESC is that? I’m not sure if any run of the mill 4000kv motor would fit and a guessing game is no fun lol. Thanks!
Thanks mate. Ours is just a cheap combo from ebay, it was only £ 30 pounds. I prefer my 13t brushed motor in the tamiyas because there is no lag. If you need a link let me know
My next build will be the Tamiya 58638 Mercedes 190E What oilshocks have you used? I have a Tamiya GT Tuned motor I will use...and fit Tamiya 50419 Racing Radial Tire on it. I found your video when looking for others who have build the TT 01E Mercedes. Your car looks great in black!!!
Thanks mate. The oil shocks are just cheap ones from ebay and they're good for the car. We are going to build a tamiya calibra turbo next i think.we are not going box art either.

Interesting mate I didn't know that.i thought that it had a bit to much lag.

Nice one mate I like the look of the kyosho cars they look like great quality stuff. The turbo optima is maybe what i would go for.
