Yeah definitely not, surely not for 1 of the 8 turns that he sat there with dondozo in letting it set up could he have forseen that sweep.

I’d be curious to see how this concept would work only hearing the Base power of the strongest move as opposed to hearing the exact move which helps identify the type of Pokémon

Tbh, that’s just way too vague and it gives you nothing to work off of. Most Pokémon get at least one really strong move.

now granted venomoth gets quiver dance naturally as well as substitute so it CAN sweep if allowed but a seviper? you may just be right

That Venomoth sweep was hilarious AF! The Seviper doesn’t have the humor factor but it’s still epic because Seviper is so weak. I think it’s BST is below 400 because it only has 60 Base stats across the board. It’s like Spinda in that regard.
No one was expecting the Seviper sweep.

Honestly these sweeps with objectively weak pokemons are SO AWESOME, not gonna lie these are my favorite videos to watch from all of you guys!! (Also shout out to ShadyPenguin's Venomoth xD )
patterz and shady sweeping with very bad poison types has been a highlight this year
At first, I thought Mow Rotom's best move was Leaf storm, but then i remembered it was learn by *level up*, and mow rotom learns it by changing form

They've done it by strongest stat and last learned move, now we've got strongest move. Every one of these brings something new, and I always get excited for when you attempt new concepts
It's stupid that they removed Eternatus signature move, the animation was amazing and it was a great move altogether. It was balanced as well since they made it so you couldn't attack the next turn
This is an open world game, so if they did add that animation it would clip with basically everything.
Blame Gamefreak for having tards for programmers that they cant even make a good looking game as one of the biggest companies on the planet
Managing to get so many good starters consecutively and picking the worse of the bunch is truly a talen Tobin has. At least he picked the stronger one a few times. Probably more even than anything.
Perish song is a status move, even if it kills after a certain amount of turns it still should not be counted as the strongest. By that logic toxapex would have toxic as its strongest move, not poison jab
I think they removed Eternabeam because it's animation shows Eternatus go Eternamax mode, which it's not available anymore in Scarlet & Violet due to the absence of Dynamax system in Gen 9.
It's because of big-ass model of eternatus and scarlet and violet are open world game so they had delete that move
You should just pick one strongest move when there is a tie. Being able to deduce what one of the Pokémon is takes a bit of the fun out of it.
Wow! I was really hoping he'd pick Seviper, even though I know it's not very good, I really like it so I wanted to see it get used. I can't believe how amazingly it did, I'm so happy!

Should do a battle where one person picks first out of the three starters, and the second person picks one of the remaining two. Then next round they switch who picks first. Would make for some interesting choices, do you pick the legendary or the pokemon that potentially counters your team! Do it, do it now!

The fact that eternabeam doesn't exist anymore actually kinda makes sense, since there is no dynamaxing in S/V
The animation for Eternabeam involves Eternatus taking its Eternamax form. I’m guessing they flat out didn’t want to animate the move for Scarlet/Violet, hence it’s replacement with (the vastly inferior) Outrage.

Would love to see a video where the highest & lowest base stat swap, so I.e. if the Pokémon’s highest stat is attack and lowest would be defense, both values would swap w eachother

no, it isnt really a level up move. the forms dont have different level up moves, you just get leaf storm/blizzard/overheat/air slash/hydro pump on form change and lose them when you change again
i think it doesn't count as level up cuz of the way they normally work
