my question is what does dylan want to achieve by using spore on a sableye, shouldn't he just moon blast it instead of wasting a turn on spore?
@@dimensionvisitor7689 At that point, Dylan knew Sableye had Spore, got a buff to it's defenses AND lost prankster. To give Gallade and Pidgeot a switch-in opportunity AND to ensure they don't become fodder for the rest of Frank's team, Spore was the right call... Assuming Sableye didn't change it's ability to Magic Bounce.

@@dimensionvisitor7689 One, a lot of the time, Dylan doesn't keep track and remember the exact stats. And I don't blame him, with as many mons as there are in these games, remembering all of them is a pretty big ask.
Two, even knowing the stats, that's still a gamble unlike Spore where you guarantee immobilize Sableye regardless of the outcome. 33% chance for Frank to run that Sableye specially bulky and 66% chance for Frank to run Sableye mixed bulk or physically bulky. 33% for Dylan's strongest remaining to be put to sleep against a team that still has an E-Speeding Mega Salamence. Dylan has lost with better odds. But, ofc, Sableye has Magic Bounce which completely derails that train of thought (pun not intended).
It's like clicking No Guard Fissure when the enemy team has no Flying types but also forgetting an enemy pokemon still has levitate.

Dylan you should do speed vs bulk, or attack, and your opponent picks speed since you said speed is not everything.
