    Wow! Respect to Medvedev for doing this, and more importantly for being so open. Rare insights which most top pros would never share. I hope he wins his first major and gets to #1 soon. He’s a worthy successor at the top of the game 🙌

    Daniil comes across extremely well. Great character, and obviously a very clever guy. I would be extremely surprised if he isn't number one at some stage.

    Daniil just sold a bunch of Tecnifibre racquets. Love how he is very open about himself and has some sense of self deprecation unlike some other top players

      Unlike who? My impression is that most tennis players are fairly decent off court as well

    Great interview, he really changed my mind of him, I thought he was just a brat and a jerk, I'm becoming a big fan of him. Really a down to earth guy and funny. Hope he does well at the US Open.

      He definitely seems like an ass on court homie off court type of guy, and as we all know, on-court isn’t who anyone is

    6:59 what does he mean "turns around" with forehands? Or 1.04 "turn around the ball"?!

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  2 года назад +1

      The reference of the Spanish players, and turn around on the forehand...I believe he meant compared to his flatter strokes, the players who hit with heavy spin on the forehand. And around 1:04, instead of hitting the tweener, trying to get around the ball, and hit it back with a forehand or backhand. Troy, TW

      Yeah a Tecnifibre in matte black and chrome lettering would be sick. Then again I'm biased, I love matte black racquets the most 😁
