I'm glad you revisited org-roam. One of my favorite features is how it differentiates between a new file template or an addition to an existing file. I use daily files a lot. I pretty much have a separate daily capture template for every recurring meeting. With standard org capture it wasn't clear to me how to automatically initialize a new file with all the stuff I want like extra properties and title etc.
I highly recommend customizing the display template so that you can complete on a node hierarchy. Especially if you have any files with recurring node titles that aren't simply top level nodes.
I tried Logseq for mobile capture for a while. Ultimately it was too slow for me and I missed the Orgzly widget so after a few months I went back to Orgzly for mobile capture.
Torn. Using both org roam and Logseq around 2 years now. Two laptops. Using org roam on work laptop where I can be faster with vim bindings. Personal laptop on Logseq , since syncs to my phone. Ideally want ability to interact with Logseq using eMacs + vim .
I'd love more org-roam content! Excited to see your journey!

Also, there's LogSeq of course, which can do both: Orgmode and Markdown
It looks like a nice tool, but I was getting some glitches when I tried it. Need to look into it more deeply.

@@nickanderson0042 I believe Logseq on mobile is still very much in beta, though seems to work fine on my device.
