It will not happen. It will be cvs 1 and cvs2 collection by capcom. Cvs chaos is made by snk. Will not be included with cvs 1 and 2 collection by capcom

The collection ought to have CvS1, CvS Pro, CvS2, CvS2 Easy Operation, SvC MOTM, SvC Chaos, and Card Fighters Clash 1 and 2. As an exclusive preorder bonus for Switch users, Card Fighters Clash DS can be a free download.
That's the bare minimum we can ask for. BUT, I'd also want to see some legacy titles that had the most influence over the arcade crossovers. Namely SFA2 (w/ online play), SFA3, KOF 98 and KOF 2002.
We need this collection as soon as possible. The Capcom vs SNK games along with Chaos are some of the best fighting games ever.

Bring in Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Mega Man, Forgotten Worlds, Legendary Wings/Ares no Tsubasa, Three Wonders, Strider, Captain Commando, Monster Hunter
Rootmars and Rathalos would be single only characters.
After announcing the return of MvC, I think all of us share this thought 😆

That would be great. However, I want CVS2 to be the GameCube version considering how many players not knowing how special move commands work.
This is why we would want multiple console versions of each game in the collection and not just arcade versions🥇😄
To be fair the Capcom Fighting Collection did have a good amount of versions of each game so hopefully, if we get this collection the GameCube version of CvS2 would be there 🏆😆

@@QuesterMage Sadly, Capcom this generation has been really strict on their collections and only containing one version (and usually the original version). Things like the recent Mega Man collections not getting any alternate versions (like Sega Saturn MM8/MMx4, or PS1 MMX3), and only offering SFA3, not the PSP version that has the most characters (and all the alternate modes). Also the recent Fighting Collection having "5" Darkstalkers games, but not the PS2 version that contained the whole cast in DS3. So if we do get a CvSNK collection, I'm sure it'll only the arcade version of CvS2

NO!!!! That version had too many changes and they’d most likely have to fix the visuals too, as in no way would the way the GC game looked be acceptable in this day and age EVER. Besides, all of these collections so far have had equivalent if not better versions of exactly what you’re asking for with regard for that.
@@QuesterMagethat’s because Vampire Savior had three variants in the arcade. The home versions of DS3 usually combined all three variants and their content together.

It is a good proposal because Capcom and SNK have borrowed characters for some of their games such as KOF All Star and more recently SF6.But there is a problem, the games are licensed so that a company earns 100% of the profits, to do this deal worked: Capcom and SNK had a contract in which each would release 2 games and each company would have the use of the characters but would have 100% of the profits.
This is where Capcom makes two games Capcom vs SNK Match of the Millennium and Capcom vs SNK 2, these games were made by Capcom.
For its part SNK makes four games on NeoGeoPocket but only one is taken by the contract, SNK vs Capcom The Match of the Millennium, the other three games are card games that are
SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters Clash - Capcom Ver and SNK Ver. And the expansion called SNK VS CAPCOM Card Fighters 2 Expand Edition, that still came out on NeoGeoPocket and were not taken as part of the contract.
The game that came out on NeoGeoMVS was SVC Chaos Snk vs Capcom, This is part of that contract but it was when SNK had returned from bankruptcy, so to make a Snk vs Capcom collection you must take into account the games that both companies made.especially SNK with the Card Fighters which are 3 from NeoGeoPocket and another game that came out on DS, if we see this it would be 4 card games and 4 fighting games to make a complete collection of this versus, but as I said, a negotiation must be reached in which both companies reach that agreement since the NeoGeoPocket version is on all platforms as well as Rockman Power & Battle Fighters, so Capcom and SNK may do something, but it would be with those 8 games i mentioned, but we don't know how much legal trouble there is with fighting games.

When the NeoGeo Pocket Collections were announced it was surprising that Match of the Millenium SvC was on one and then the Cardfighters games were on another. This to me seemed to show that at least, the companies are talking to each other and agreeing to work together. Which is a good start 🏆😆
If we get all 8 games you mentioned in the collection, that would be an amazing compilation of Capcom and SNK games 😱😄
We never thought that MvC would return due to issues with Marvel and Capcom but here we are so hopefully, Capcom and SNK could also make another dream collection real 🥇😄

My buddy and I had a conversation about this and he made a good point. I think next year we might get a CVS collection, Capcom is gonna wait for the MVC collection to die down, because why cannibalize your own game with another great collection? Business wise this wouldn't make sense.
Also Capcom and SNK have been talking and rumor is that they might be making a CvS3. A few years ago there was a picture of, I think, the street fighter producers holding up art work of Capcom and SNK characters, kinda like a promotional teaser or concept.
@Kakeen 100% Agree with you and your buddy 👍😆 If CvS/SvC were to be real, then it would probably be from next year onward due to the MvC Collection 😅.
I remember the producers with the artwork. That was very surprising and I was thinking about that making this video 🤣. It did seem like the first big reveal that Capcom and SNK are closer again 👍😄
Throw in Tatsunoko and I'd be sold instantly. FFS, barely anyone even played that one because it only came out on the Wii.

A port of TvC is gonna be a bit harder to get seeing as how it was developed around the Wii hardware, kinda like how MvC2 and CvS2 were based off the Dreamcast hardware. But they were eventually ported over to other systems so there's a possibility.
Unfortunately I can't say the same for licensing, it was a miracle that we received TvC in the states, I've seen the term, it's the "who framed Roger Rabbit" of video games. The majority of tatsunoko characters in the states are under licensing of a lot of different companies, so having to deal with everyone of them would be a nightmare.
The US version of TvC had all the tatsunoko character's themes cut due to... you know it, licensing. So instead we were left with generic level themes. Same with one character. In the JP version there's a genie character that was cut from the US version for the same reason, but luckily we ended up with more characters.
While I would love to see TvC rereleased, the unfortunate part is that no on is willing to deal with the licensing issue.

Licensing has and probably will always be an issues when wanting to make/remake or continue many entertainment properties 😓. But with MvC returning that is a good sign as this game was also famous for licensing issues too 😅
I think if we have a chance of these games returning being remastered or remade, now is the best time 😄
We definitely in an era of remakes/remasters and/or returns for games. Hopefully if TvC would return then we would get the version with all characters/features 🥇😆

@@QuesterMage Yes I highly recommend TvC if you get a chance to play it. But I think you're better off emulating it seeing as how physical copies go for absurd prices nowadays.

I think if the collection existed it would only have svc chaos cvs and cvs2 as match of the millennium doesn’t have an arcade counterpart and so far we haven’t got any console games in these capcom collections

I mean, it’s definitely next. I’m actually a little surprised we’re getting the Marvel vs Capcom one before this. SNK has already rereleased SNK vs. Capcom: The Match of the Millennium and SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash on the Switch. I’m gonna assume we probably get a Capcom vs SNK collection from Capcom next year ahead of the release of Mai in Street Fighter 6.
The only thing is, compared to Capcom Fighting Collection and Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, a Capcom vs SNK Fighting Collection might be seen as a little bare bones feeling by Capcom. Like I guess it’d be Capcom vs SNK, Capcom vs SNK Pro, Capcom vs SNK 2, maybe the EO version of Capcom vs SNK 2... but that’s still just two games. I could see them maybe just putting it in a Capcom Fighting Collection 2. Although if they did do a Capcom vs SNK Fighting Collection, as an extra, it’d be cool to get Capcom Fighting All-Stars (which started as Capcom vs SNK 3, and was going to have Kyo in it) and whatever they have of the original Capcom vs SNK 3 that became Capcom Fighting All-Stars if there’s enough there to play.
I 100% thought the same. How are we getting MvC before CvS/SvC 🤣

@@QuesterMage It's a revision of CvS1. It have Joe and Dan added before CvS2, and had some balance changes (there's a balance changes FAQ on GameFAQs).

CVS Pro was a revision of CvS1 with some general balance changes and the addition of Joe and Dan. That’s it.
Just to note, CvS Pro was also released on PS1, together with the DC and Arcade versions.
With the reveal of SvC Chaos today, what is missing is a Capcom VS SNK Fighting Collection, with:

You could be right and SvC Chaos would be seperate to other games that could still be bundled together in a collection 😄.
