Listening to heartbeats is so nice. It's weird, but just hearing your partners heartbeat just gives you reassurance and happiness. For every beat, thats one more second that they are alive and safe, and you are with them.

I've heard someone say that when you listen to someone's heartbeat for long enough, your own heartbeat can eventually try to match it. I don't remember the entire idea but it's something to do with it being a response for children or infants when they're unable to really articulate thoughts, it's like an instinctive method of comfort or reassurance when they aren't able to understand words or gestures.
Don't quote me on that, I also just love heartbeat noises.

Let me tell you something…it is the most *real* feeling in the world. Some would call it happiness, some bliss, others…Hygge. The best word in my mind would be contentment. Listening to their breath and how peaceful they sound, smelling their perfume sending shivers up your spine, hearing their heart beat in a rhythmic pattern, and knowing that someone so utterly unique and different that everyone you’ve ever met….wants nothing more than you in their arms.
From one helpless romantic to another I can assure you that it doesn’t matter how long we have to wait, because when we find the one it’ll all feel worth it. Keep fighting my friend, because someone out there is fighting for you.

I struggle with autism and adhd as well as being depressed and half deaf. I can't sleep, so I've found asmr has helped an insane amount. I also had bad breakups and mommy issues. I find that this is one the best channels for falling asleep to.
