Man i won't forget my reaction I was just about to burst into tears by pure Kino and saw the QTE and went full monke. The QTE trauma from RE5 and Castlevania LOS paid off well
I thought I was finally done after I spent 6 hours on the first dungeon attempt and at least 2 on beating him with a full team, so I shat myself when instead of watching a cutscene I actually had to engage the space-bar, thinking "AWH HELL NAH IVE HAD ENOUGH FLUID SACS TODAY" and galloped on to continue the dream all over quixote
No, you can't get a game over by doing nothing in this sequence. If you do nothing the bar just stays empty and nothing happens. Though something I found interesting was that there are some "checkpoints" where the bar won't go below that once it gets filled there, so you don't have to worry about the bar completely emptying if you can't keep spamming space. Also, during the third QTE sequence, the bar automatically fills without you doing anything, except for a few times when the game stops and waits until you press space once before it keeps filling. Also also, I keep hearing people say that you can just hold down the button instead of tapping to complete the QTE but nothing happened when I tested that. I remember a lot of people talking about how they couldn't get past this section (especially on mobile) so I wonder if they changed the way the QTE works, or if it was always like this from the start?
on mobile its really laggy so every time you tap it taps slower and if you didnt know the checkpoints are real, it goes faster and then stops going down after some time but i still did it somehow even if it was a slow process
@@carmenoneilsantos7206 holding doesn't exist for mobile sadly. Props to all the mobile players who's phone was heating up, running at 2 fps and still tapping as hard as they can
During the fight i noticed how the bar filled automatically during the third clash and took my hands off space, so i actually got the first 'pause' naturally. It made the whole sequence feel perfectly framed dramatically
i really wish that the qte actually could fail it would absolutely suck to do the boss fight again but i feel like there could also be room for a unique defeat animation
she can die but it is very unlikely, if I remember correctly she can only die if she's the last one alive (just like heath and ish in their own cantos) she also gets a lot of buffs to the point its just easier doing solo with her instead of bringing an entire team
@@radiantMotion she was last sinner alive and always got to 1 health, and from that because of buffs she got to full health, so I think she cant die during last part of boss fight
My phone has this game on high settings so the lag made this QTE last way longer than needed but the cut scene was so peak I just kept tapping away while screaming "COME ON, GALLOP ON, DON QUIXOTE!". I think that after Lob Corp and Ruina, the PM monke mindset has finally set in for me.
Mili patiently waiting for you to press space before continuing is really funny tbh
Happened to me; the bar was going fast enough and I wanted to time the song right, not knowing it was automatic.
Damn imagine if you could lose and you have to do the boss battle all over again 🥰

I was mashing button like a madman until I found out I could just hold it, yea....
I recall being able to hold it for a bit in the last segment but I still decided to mash during that phase as it felt fitting
I was playing this on mobile and I fixed it by turning off Post Processing

another question i have for the fight is if K corp hong lus support can kill the unkillable don.
Hm, try on the Ishmael Ricardo fight, it probably works the same

When you do nothing, you still must be doing something wrong to warrant getting hurt. You ARE the wrong that needs to be righted.
