Part of why I left atheism. When I realized everything I'd been taught about christ mythicism was garbage it made me reassess everything.

Short crisp and concise. Slower reading would not hurt though.

Throughout history, various Real individuals have been described as gods or demi-gods within their cultural and religious frameworks (e.g., Pharaohs in ancient Egypt, Roman Emperors, or figures in Hindu texts).

And yet, every Pharaoh, Roman Emperor, and false prophet is still dead. But Jesus Christ is risen.

Interesting video and while I know Jesus was a trouble maker for the authorities of his time I also know the story of Mani and see how easily his story was erased from the record and sphere of conversation. To form a relationship with Jesus on a person level is to ignore what you are told by someone else and flip over the money changers tables while whipping them with cords and drive them out of the temple. He will only help those who help themselves.

The important question is not, "Did Jesus exist?" but, "Were the stories about Jesus' supernatural origin and abilities true?" Any evidence for the first is not evidence for the second.

      Agreed. More videos to come

It is important to know He existed, otherwise the latter half isnt even a question.

@@emergentc5398 For those who are unconvinced of the supernatural claims about Jesus, his existence is irrelevant; just as Christians consider the existence of Muhammad as irrelevant to the supernatural claims about him. And since it is virtually impossible to prove ANY supernatural claims, I couldn't care less whether an actual Jesus as portrayed in a particular ancient book actually existed or not.

@@JulianGentry If you can actually DEMONSTRATE that the supernatural claims about the Jesus of the Bible are true, then you will be the first. And since any such demonstration is virtually impossible, I won't hold my breath waiting.

@@jimscott9974 treat the historical works with charity rather than dismissal, and understand the first followers died for information that they knew about (not believed in). the details can get murky for the 11 disciples that were martyred, but no sources recount them going back to their old lives into obscurity.
